Former NBA play Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (formerly known by the name Chris Jackson) talked on the topic: The Gift of Adversities and How They Fueled my Imagination and Drive to Succeed.
Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf touched our hearts as he recounted his path to success and how hard work, perseverance and how he was steadfast in his commitment to his deen and was undaunted by the threats he received as he adhered to principles. He had to make many sacrifices, including his professional career as they resorted to character assassination and other lowly tactics to make him compromise.

Man, this is a someone with tenacity and integrity. Tourette is no joke and getting this far even with the mild form is heroic. Truly, tenacity is the only word that describes him to me and that in all the spheres of his life so far. Keep pounding brother.

He was one of my favorite basketball players back then and see him now on BIG3, it seems, this man is still fast and and sharp shooter! I know his story, only America does not respect him. That’s a shame!

This brother is the original Steph and Kaepernick, the NBA robbed him of his record of being the best free throw shooter ever. He was forced out of the league for standing up for his belief, he did not salute the flag during the national anthem and prayed standing instead.
