This video of Mahogany Bay in Roatan, Honduras was shot while on a Carnival Celebration cruise. This Carnival Cruise Line operated cruise port has a gorgeous beach area, chair lift, tons of water sport activities, and plenty of shops and eateries to choose from.
The video starts out at the cruise pier and walks you through the nature trail. Then you will see the many loungers in the beach area, some of which can be reserved for a fee. Many of them are already shaded under natural trees, however, so we didn't pay for that little luxury. At the end of the beach is a pier that provides a great view of the ship and some of the amazing coral in the region. You can go snorkeling off this pier, and the colors of the fish and coral were truly stunning.
Towards the end of the video you will see the main shopping area in the Mahogany Bay cruise port. There are tons of places to shop and even a Craft Market for locally produced goods.
