SEBI Chairwoman Madhabi Puri Buch has been accused of Hindenburg Research of a conflict of interest in relation to the investigation into the Adani group. They allege that Buch and her husband had invested in a fund also invested in by Vinod Advani, brother of Gautam Adani. Both Buch and the Adani Groups have rubbished the allegations. The Opposition, though, is demanding the resignation of the SEBI Chief.
