really good anime, really funny (one of the TOP TIER comedies) and a lot of really good life lessons (and ya, lots of fanservice/ecchi too, and even an insanely good fight too) to understand Tohru: PRIDE, she's a very proud dragon (she is the #2 in power of the chaos dragon faction, beaten only by her father) Kobayashi (and her male co-worker buddy, Takiya) is (are) software engineers ("programmers"), so she (and him) is (are) very rich, along with being single and living alone (same with Takiya as well), and she (and him too) is (are) a workaholic, going straight from school (university) to job/career Kobayashi is a maid otaku, while Takiya is a general/everything otaku (games, manga/anime, cosplay, maids, etc) Takiya, also either as a hobby or for even more money, creates his own games too, as well
@Rustronamy Reacts Intentionally. Where Dragon Maid shoehorns fan service in for its own sake, Kill La Kill's fan service primarily functions as a plot device. Most people miss the deeper meaning of the story because of the risqué content. I highly suggest watching this analysis first. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IdeJ1FKdiQE.html
