Use about 5-10 clicks of down mixed in with your landing flap to get rid of that floating on landing. It feels a lot more natural to carry it in with a little of up instead of having to force the nose down. 😎
Nice flyer, I really am a fan of Flyfans planes. I have the K8 6s and love it. I want the Mig, too. If I didn't have the Eflite 70mm and xfly 50mm flanker, I'd be all over this one.
Landing went fine!! Just move the battery forward a lil more or lower the throw. I have been looking at one of these. I fly from paved so no issues for me but I am sure that people appreciate the grass ops!
Yeah this one has tested my piloting skills on landing! I have the bigger Fms twin 70mm a d I honestly think that lands better than this one. Maybe because this one is so much lighter and you have to fly it all the down more so than depending of the weight and sink rate like the bigger one that makes it a little more challenging but she definitely does take some getting used too. Also the main landing gear isn't very well reinforced. The gear themselves are good but I've had them rip right out of the foam on a hard landing.
Great! I have been struggling with my twin 64mm Arrows. Loads of upgrades and I still find it stressful particularly on landing. How heavy is this with a 3300 on board? Good work BTW.
@mrhilma This plane is much lighter in general than the Arrows, so I can fly this one with 4000s, and it's still pretty good. The Arrows one struggles a bit more because it's heavier, so using lighter batteries like 3300 is better. Both still need to be landed nose up and on throttle if not the nose slams down, so just remember to add a little throttle right at touch down to get smoother landings.
I have the exact same plane and want to set mine up with flaperon also with a DX8 ,do you have a tutorial on how to do that. do you think a smc 3600 S6 is to heavy . 478 G ?
I've flown it with the smc 3600. It does just fine with that battery. I don't have a tutorial on how to do the Flapperons, but I can help you as much as I can in these comments. It's really not that difficult to do. Just ask whatever you need, and I'll be happy to help.
