What a beautiful fairy tale. I love it, thank you. In the land of Yalana, Samson who lives with Grandma Lona in a small cottage by the sea is a professional fisherman and meets the elegant Alana, the maiden of the sea. She has fair skin, pink hair and bright eyes. Such a beauty. While Samson went fishing for the royal family, Alana takes care of Grandma Lona as she cooks in the kitchen and cleans the house. Samson and Alana have been together for quite some time and eventually fall in love with each other. But one rainy day, when the previous king passes away, the prince takes the throne as the new king, and reveals his true nature. He is arrogant, greedy, ruthless, and no-good. Blinded by his cruelty and pride, he abuses his power and makes constant commands, not to mention breaking the hearts and souls out of innocent people in the whole kingdom. The new king thinks the land and sea belong to him and everyone starts to hate him for his tyranny. If someone whispers behind his back or disobeying his orders, they will be banished from the kingdom forever. Oh, that is unfair and unjust to take orders from the likes of him. When the king sees Alana on the seashore, he begins to fall in love with her. But notices Samson coming to see the maiden of the sea, he becomes jealous and commands the guards to take the fisherman to his castle at once. Upon arriving at the castle, the king has a request for Samson to make him a huge tent for his army to fit in and leave half of it empty. He wants it ready in two days. This is impossible for one person to build such a big tent for the whole army and get it done by the time the king arrives. But Alana can help her beloved fisherman. With the snap of her finger, the big tent appears in the blink of an eye. The king is impressed, but he wants furniture in the tent before he returns the next sunrise. Samson looks down in the dumps and tells Alana the king's next command. The fearless maiden of the sea comforts him - She will send the sea elves to make furniture. They are the best craftsmen, so they prepare the furniture with good progress as they work hard before dawn. Well done, sea elves. Amazing work of art, I might add. When the king sees everything, he gets furious and once again makes another command and is giving him pearls from the sea. Unfairly complicated. Samson is overwhelmed and stressful because he is banished for no reason at all. But Alana has an idea to teach that tyrant a lesson. On the seashore, the king and the guards are waiting for the fisherman to get the pearls, but they see a boy instead. He tells the king that he collects pearls from the sea by diving and sells them himself, which surprises the royal king. And when the boy gets a sack of pearls in a quick speed, the king demands to have them. But as the sack is opened, it is seaweed and a clam to offer. The king refuses to accept that and tells the guards to arrest the boy. That does it. Enough is enough. The boy turns out to be the maiden of the sea in disguise. The king recognizes her, the same maiden. Yes, it was her all long. She can see who and what he really is. He never showed gratitude to everyone in the kingdom, he only cares about himself and selfishly takes everything from them, especially banishing the innocent. So Alana takes the king's armor and jewels with the snap of her finger and they vanish. That really angers him. She even wipes out the guards' memories to not remember him. The king is now disgraced and ashamed by his behavior as he begs Alana's forgiveness, for he was wrong to cause innocent people so much suffering and Samson too. The maiden of the sea was hoping he would change his ways and make things right; she was teaching him a lesson about kindness and respect. He understands completely, karma has a way of coming back to him. Alana returns the king's armor but not his jewels. In the aftermath, the king becomes a better person. No longer cruel as he once was, earns forgiveness and kindness from his subjects and is able to help those in need. The best part is, Samson comes back home to Grandma Lona and Alana. The fisherman and the maiden of the sea are inseparable because of their love. Thanks to Alana the maiden of the sea, Samson deserves so much rewards for being kind and compassionate. I am glad everything works out well and to see a happy ending for them both and the kingdom of Yalana. I have never heard of sea elves until now. They are hardworking and helpful just like hobgoblins in households. I love them. There are so many things I never knew in my young life, a little hard to understand. But I sure would be able to learn from stories and movies when I read and watch them.

Samson’s grandmother is a sweet lady, and Alana is a real sweetheart 🥰. Samson and Alana ❤ are so sweet together. Alana taught the new King a lesson, he certainly needed to be taught humility, generosity, and kindness.
