Glad you're trying synthetics. I too have some top notch name brand silvertips but I also like the Plisson and the EJ Syn XL. The quality new synthetic fiber brushes have their own unique features. Frankly the expensive silvertips need some competition. The synthetics excel at mixing the lather then spreading it using painting strokes. Try the EJ Syn XL then report how it performed.
