Big box for that short plug , I got a few parts coming in from DigiKey finally storms over there were bad , Fed Ex moving slow like a bunch of parts coming from Ali overseas , Sometimes DigiKey doesn't have the parts I need so Ali-Express comes in handy... Take care Mon Ami...
That is true about DigiKey. I use Mouser too and if I need something way out in left field I will go to UTSource. I have had pretty good luck with them on really hard to find stuff. Thanks for watching.
Hey Dave Just a quick hello. I'm still following you but can't leave comments. If I remember I have to run something like CCleaner to force stop all the background apps. Then comments post fine. If not, one or more background apps erases my comment and will not post it. Anyway I still follow you and I haven't built that high voltage capacitor tester yet. I'm still trying to design a rotary selector. using 1% resistors, to choose the Capacitor voltage. By the way, what service do you use for your schematics? I've got an old 2004 Sanyo. DWM-400 DVD player with a power supply problem. One cap looks "swollen" on the power board the others test good with my in circuit tester. I've ordered the swollen cap from Mouser. A schematic would come in handy. Take care Dave Tom Heckhaus
Hi Thomas. Glad to hear from you. I get manuals from everywhere and anywhere I can. Manualslib has the service manual for that unit, www.manualslib.com/download/795611/Sanyo-Dwm-400.html It looks pretty good. I also subscribe to radiomuseum.org for the really old stuff. If a cap looks swollen at all don't even bother to test it. I will guarantee it is bad. Thanks for watching and the comment.
