I can't see how Bobby Johnson wasn't the problem. He was not thought highly of in Buffalo. It may be a player that just liked Bobby Johnson personally but it's obvious the players weren't developing even slightly.

Dan, I was at that Seahawks Monday night game too. Was still hopeful for team I recall also. The pick six by DJ at goaline and all the booing leading to Neal to lash out at fans. Season went right down the shitter after that game!! Make matters worse I was there with 3 Hawks fans!! Brighter days ahead…PLEASE!!!

On Schoen's process, I feel like we consistently forget how amazing the Thomas and Dexy contracts are. Especially Dexy, the giants FO was so far ahead of the league and we have an all pro caliber DT that just git renewed, and we aren't even paying him top 5 money

The Giants are one season removed from beating the Vikings in the playoffs, and Brian Daboll winning Coach of the Year. As difficult as last season was, it's not a stretch to say that team could have won 9 games, with victories against the Jets, Rams and Bills easily within reach. From a character standpoint, the Giants did not pack it in, and absolutely pasted the Eagles in the season finale. Going into 2024, this Giants squad has much more talent - not just by O-Line upgrades, and adding Burns, Nabers and Nubin. I expect guys like Pinnock, Simmons, Singletary, Tracy and Johnson to have an impact. A more mature Drew Lock, a well-stocked Receiver corp, and a Defense built to last will reasonably result in a 10+ win season.

I think Tracy was picked for returns. He needs to grow as an RB, the talent is there, but raw. Also, let's see what Gray can do for now. RB in 3rd was a luxury pick G-men couldn't afford.

I wanted to replace Jones but it’d be great if he proved us wrong and threw for 25+ TDs and lead the team back to playoffs. In reality I think he can’t run like he did while still getting back from the injury this year and forced to throw. Probably look pretty average even with Nabers. I think eventually Drew Lock takes over and looks a bit better and be the guy til they draft and develop a true franchise QB!

Fifita to Tmac is gonna be Johnny Football to Mike Evans 2.0 Hawaiian blue boogaloo. They're gonna easily be the most exciting QB/WR combination in the coming year going against all those weak ass pac-12 D. Idk how I stumbled across his highlights last year but besides Caleb, Fifita had the best highlight clips of any QB in the class. Creative, fearless, darts on the move, using eyes and fakes to move defenders, running to extend keeping eyes downfield, touch/zip when called for. He is REALLY small though, like REALLY fuckin small. Kyler is short but he is thiccc and over 200lbs and about the same height Fifita doesn't look quite as filled out. Either way I will be pulling for Fifita, fuckin love the kid. Coming from HS with his friend and teammate to then tear up the PAC12 together is about as cool as it gets, hope he gets into the Heisman race.

Not only did Johnson not develop any player(Thomas got his own off season coach) His players could not pick up any stunts and he let Feliciano and Phillips go. Absolute incompetent coaching. What could anyone point to that would show Johnson is a good coach? Bredeson will start with Tampa this year, Feliciano will probably start in superbowl again, and Phillips will start for Philly if we don't sign him after he he heals.

Good point that they still won 6 games even with the worst possible season I've ever seen. Under Joe Judge that would have been a 3 win season no doubt. I see 8 wins especially if AT doesn't get injured. The stats on how DJ performs with or without AT is hilarious and insiteful to the success of this team.

I think people are asking for a lot of a QB coming back from an ACL tear in November. It won't even be a year recovery by the time the season starts. It's not an excuse for DJ but it is reality. We all know that it usually takes two years to feel like yourself after an ACL injury. Unfortunately DJ doesn't have two years. It's a shitty situation but those are the cards he was dealt. I just don't expect him to look good before the bye-week.

Slayton has been our best and most consistent WR idk how the guy is able to produce with this incompetence at play calling and coaching the guy deserves a contract

We're better at QB. Drew Lock is a QB #1 talent, has matured under Pete Carroll and has demonstrated character, which is a major step forward. He has a better arm both in strength and finesse, he knows how to float the pocket, survey the secondary and will likely be better able to stretch the field and make better use of the Giants WR weapons. In game action, ask the Eagles if Drew Lock is fools gold. And be honest - which QB was more effective when we played Seattle, Geno Smith or Drew Lock? Seattle's offense was more effective with Lock taking snaps. In both games, he appeared calm and focused. By contrast, DJ is better able to bail out and scramble, but that ability is compromised. Further, Jones' ability to scramble has likely stunted his drop-back discipline - to stay in the pocket and survey the secondary. Drew Lock gets my vote going into preseason training camp.

I'm sorry, but you must be kidding me about Justin Pugh last season. He had a whopping 41 PFF grade. He was not even league average let alone "good" last season. The only NYG O-lineman with a "good" PFF was Andrew Thomas. Period.

I dont think we made enough of an improvement to compete with Dallas and Philly. And Washington has made significant improvement. Sick of Schoen drafting players without NFL physical traits in rnds 2 and 3.

I think the rift went all the way back to Adorees PR injury i think Wink was pissed that his CB1 was used when there was little depth at the position the playoffs probably just papered over the cracks for a short while
