Thank you so much for the kind and caring message. I am watching this at the end of March when we have all been through more gun violence in the US, hate crimes, and cruelty. Eric’s gentle message opening this video was/is a gift, and he reminds me that as artists painting the beauty of our world, our planet, IS a social action, a voice for change, a way to care.

Just watching this video on August 17, 2022. Unfortunately, we are still experiencing so much division and even violence and too many willing to believe so much that’s so false. I come here multiple times and remember another thing every time. I also come because you arnt a review channel..i have enough artist grade watercolors to last me till i live to at least 500..every new paint introduced has made me feel that i need it to be a better watercolorist faster. I dont have much time left....but that said, there arnt alot of reviews of this paint..i watched one then bought...now to actually learn about them.

I just got a set of Maimeriblu watercolor paints to try. Your video was very helpful. Especially the cars side by side comparing to the other brand paints. You painting at the end is beautiful. I love how it turned out. I’m gonna film myself using the new paints just to see how it looks compared to my other set. I think that helps to see the difference and know which one I like better.

I think your painting has greatly improved!! And I love the the new colors. I'm working on my palette choices right now and as much as I love the Holbein colors that Andy suggests, I have noticed that a lot of studies in the mentoring class are really dull. What a lovely video and painting! You have such a calm and sincere manner…. I have a wide variety of watercolours but I’m trying to settle on a main brand. I think I will try a few of these. A very happy and healthy new year to you Eric. I believe MB has honey in it, as does the M Graham paint I use, which really helps keep the paint moist, and I think it helps keep colour more vibrant. I love that MB Cerulean, but I’m crazy for blues!

P.S. loved. I just pulled out my MB palette. I haven't used it for about 6 months. I can still stick my fingernail in all the paints except one. I have 11 pigments, not 9. I'm inspired now to paint a landscape with them. Thanks, Eric.

MB is a honey based paint so that probably explains its softness . I ordered about 9 tubes a few years ago and lived them. Not sure why I haven't re-ordered yet, but I put them in a separate palette. They are still soft and easily rewet. I put them back on my "to buy" list.
