I have my first Unk Pastiliere of the year ripening in an organza bag. It’s actually the 3rd but the birds got the first two lol. Can’t wait

Those two you mentioned are the two I put in the ground here in central Alabama. My potted Marsale Black is doing good this year.

Damn goooood looking fig there! Congrats *_*this year, man. here in North (quite north) Italy we had a damn cold may, and Now its like october : rainy rainy and cold okay...luckly (for your figs) there's quite hot there. But, hey Ross, have you ever tried musk strawberry? I guess an handfull of Marie Charlotte, for exanple its just right there a good ripened fig, damn its Crazy how much flavor can be stored in a quite tiny fruit. Anyway, peaches are Crazy too if picked ripe from your tree.

Cal 9B as of 7.28.21 ripened Golden Rainbow, VdB, Figo Preto, Genoves Nero. Figs set but not ripened Bourjesot Grise, Smith, CdD Blanc, LSU Champagne ( best guess). 4 yo and never set a single fig: Black Mission

I have a desert king in ground. For 5 years never give any winter protection. In zone 6B end is 14 feet high. I got brebas for 3 weeks. Great brebas

North lancaster county pa. Producing dozens of ripe figs now, in ground 40+ year old Chicago hardy? That has never produced this early during the 38 years we lived here. Mostly multi stalks 8’ and under tall. Birds are starting to discover the bounty.

I have now realized the figs were all breba figs. First time this has happened here so it was a new experience. I will also have a bumper main crop in Sept till frost. Thanks Ross for assisting in getting more enjoyment from my tree by following your suggestions.

How did your Campaniere do (the ones in ground) are they as cold hardy as we hoped from Thierry’s description?

My friend Carlos Rivera has Desert King in ground; it has been producing breba crop for the past 5 weeks; monster tree 12 feet tall at least; as I have seen it; in ground. Over 100 figs easily......fantastic tree......

I wish you said something about you coming to Nashville, I would love to take you to unknown fesslers fig tree it’s loaded with high quality fruit I been harvesting figs since early July
