Need some terminal covers if you leave that open all the time. Don't want to accidentally start welding, fire lol. So why do you think this messed up your switch??? Cause my boat only has a main toggle switch on the dash for accessories. Not the trim up or start.
I have a dual purpose battery, use it for cranking motor, speakers, and a small fish finder. Would it be okay to wire hot wires for the motor, speakers and the fish finder to the one post on the on off switch, and then just have the single wire to the battery on the hot post? Thats what was done with those extra wires going into your on off switch, right? Thanks!
I take it you ran a 4 gauge positive post from the battery to the switch and a four gauge black negative from the battery to the switch you also mentioned something about multiple negative wires you didn't go into detail if you do anything special with those I'm getting ready to attempt this I have three batteries on my boat thanks Robert
what happened to alll your other negative wires. I only saw two going back on the battery. I thought you would have more if your running other depth finders
