Looks like a nice place there. Love the wide streets. Sandpoint reminds me a bit of Mudgee in New South Wales Australia, where we visited way back in 1980. The river there actually looks similar to the river at Griffith NSW.
@@oswaldboelcke5470 Yes, Mudgee is an awesome place. I remember the wide streets there. At the time , we were living in Sydney and it was a great holiday. Incidentally, Mudgee was apparently designed by the same person who designed Melbourne.
Tom, you’re making me yearn for a visit back to my hometown, I am only 6 hrs away now, used to be 6000 miles away! I love the Cedar Street Bridge, 20 years ago I bought some pottery that sits on my fireplace mantel. Gotta go home soon❤️
Enjoy seeing the dogs in the water, the white one still as a crane, another swimming way out to fetch a ball- something you won’t see in The Villages 🐊 🐊 🐊 🐊 you know what I mean?
The Panda Movie Theatre, Remember when they used to show cartoons before the movie, I am born and raised here and it is a great beautiful place to live.
Btw, bedroom community typically refers to a suburb where nearly everyone commutes to somewhere else for work. Hence the town just serves as bedrooms. Sandpoint ain’t that…
They change every 6 months. Sandpoint is nothing like it used to be. I was born and raised here. Im almost 43 and most of the growth has happened in the last 20 yrs. Just really sad.
