Marriage is a choice, and no one should ever force you to make a choice you don't want. Two things in this life affects you the rest of your life: who you marry and who you have a child with. Those two things should be chosen carefully or not at all. And it's okay if you don't want either or all. Your peace of mind comes first.

I understand, and that's the fact that women are independent and doing better than most men, but society will label you differently.Especially when you pass away, the burial site will be different from community to community. The kids you leave behind will also be labeled. I have seen those things with my own eyes.

There's one point here,no one is interested with them being single but these are the victims breaking many families snatching married men or young men in spoiling their future with alcohol n petty gifts to satisfy them sexually n when they're done with them wanatupwa out
It's very simple...I have watched and been watching the marriage madness that I see in our society and sometimes in our families and I end up wondering what's the point of getting married??...I recently watched several videos of some women back home formerly married but after 20 years of marriage they ended up divorcing after living a whole 20 years whole life in hell.....Personaly I don't worship marriages and am a Christian meaning hata boyfriend staki it's waste of time koz some of this men use some women as doormats it's something I see in my surroundings and I have serious self respect for myself ... it's ungodly to sleep around with men.... Huyo mswahili akae na her opinion it's not making sense...... Marriage doesn't guarantee happiness especially based on the current microwave generation which is full of mpango wa Kando,,,kuchinjana madness and material minded people...Am happy solo period.Am one person who detest matharau and that is one thing mostly I see happening in married people,, and personally I can't stand even a single madharau, I will just woke out of marriage I just can't stand nonsense...Am so happy solo..

The question should be why? If marriage is no longer an attractive option why get married? Men forgot a very important dimension of relationships. Its their job to attract the woman to be his mate for life. That's why a man proposes marriage to a woman. If he doesn't want to be married and doesn't make the effort or if what he is offering as a husband is a controlling mean arrogant or lazy partner then he wont attract a woman to be his wife.
