A slow day from Bald Mountain Pond Lean-to over to Buck Hill where I set up camp for the night. My campsite offered a nice view and a some cell service for an upload. Another good day!

That crossing at 8 minutes was over waist high crossing at the island last summer when I went thru. All the south bounders had struggled and said to take the road walk. I had to see it for myself and crossed it successfully late in the day.
Really nice hiking today with the water crossings and bodies of water you showed. Very picturesque it was today. Your tarp and tent setup are going on me I believe to where in might want to try a trap maybe🤔

I have not seen anything that looks like that but possibly. I have never seen it grow round if it is! maybe it is northern witches butter! lol Hiking with a bird… I would love to know the story behind that!!!
13:54 Lichen, maybe? That bone bump may be a little tough day after. Have had ‘em and that’s usually the deal. Where it is will determine whether it’s just a nuisance or something that needs a little rest. Good luck with it!
