My heart just breaks for all those who have lost a loved one to gun violence and those whose lives have been forever marked by gun inflicted injuries sustained. As a mom of teens/young adults that frequent bowling alleys & restaurants on their own, I just cannot even fathom them not coming home due to someone going on a rampage like this. 🙏🏾 My prayers are with Maine. I am so sorry for what has happened. 😭

Why do people resist any type of gun control? I remember one time a man in my community came to a wedding celebration. I went to an anniversary celebration with a gun in a holster because he had a license to carry it the wedding celebration/anniversary. party was in a church hall. He had a license to carry a gun why he ever brought it into this party, except approve that he could do it is beyond me show me the men talk to him and told him that he either put the gun in his car. or leave the party. Thank heavens, he complied it was so inappropriate. It was just a smart ass thing to do. I don’t think the man. is violent, but it seems to have to prove that he can carry a weapon into any type of building, including a church. If I know that family is coming to church, I simply do not go.

Forget about that interview with that friend of the Card family as he was full of so much crap when he was talking about Card being an army veteran and suffering from 'PSTD', or I shall I say PTSD! That guy Cuomo spoke to was a jackass, he was trying to make out that the cause of the shooting was that once again there's a war veteran who didn't get the help they needed. Card never actually served in combat or in any war and was a fuel specialist in the reserve army. As for a possible motive other Card obviously being mentally ill, at least one real motive is coming into the picture which is that Card's girlfriend ended their relationship and he was shooting up the places that they used to go to as couple, and there is speculation that Card was expecting for her to be at one of those locations he shot up. 🙏God there wasn't more killed.

i guess i will go back to staying at home we had already stopped eating in resturants i'm cooking more at home my family loves Maine and i loved to visit i used to fly outta Portland Maine but my family lived a hour away they live in Florida now where it's really crazy i'm praying for the victims and their families it can happen anywhere

In big diverse cities I conceal carry to avoid getting mugged carjacked or robbed. In small white towns I carry in case someone blows a gasket. Because you just never know. I outright refuse to be a victim.
