Kentucky's Land Between the Lakes is home to two places that are both habitats for wild animals and educational centers for the public. The Elk & Bison Prairie is a 700 acre enclosure of native habitat, lost more than a century ago, where wild elk and bison roam year round. The Woodlands Nature Station, also located in LBL is an up-close encounter with native plants and animals that can be an introduction to the wildlife that Kentucky has to offer.
