AlhamduliLLAH, I have experienced the effectiveness of giving salam frequently in the house. Even at fjr if everyone is sleeping and I'm leaving for the masjid, I would give salam to them. It is simply the best way to bring total and unconditional peace upon the family and to the family members.

So many practical wisdoms in this lecture. SubhanAllah. Jazak Allahu Khairan. Ameen to all your duas!

Its not what happens to you that matters, its whats you do about it. Patience and getting through hard times defines your relationship with Allah. Turning to Allah it #1. Self control and self awareness is key to stabilizing your mind and heart. But to do that you need to learn how to be patient. Patience is not something one can achieve in a short period of time. Persistance will help ease the stuggle, the more you practice patience the more likely it becomes second nature. May Allah guide us and help us all. Sheikh Omar, thank you for your leadership and wisdom. Salam!

It's the test of human character. Essential teachings of Islam. The family a.k.a "USRAH". This COVID 19 lockdown is the separation between the right from the wrong, the truth from the liars and so on. Those who understands Islam truthfully knows the foundation of ummah is USRAH. And not the antagonistic characteristic dajjal have embedded in society individuals seeking self gratifications, pointing fingers who is more correct and conflict driven dakwah. Conflicts discord division create disunity (essential dajjal operation), while USRAH peace creates UNITY & HARMONY(actual Islam of our prophet). Something which the Muslim ummah all over the world currently now lacking on! Killing each other while the benefits being reaped by the enemies of Islam. Realize that!

What if the other person is not willing to pray together or have religious conversations together? What if the person is completely ignorant of whatever I have to say and I'm the only one who's trying to make amends, be patient and control my anger?

"i really needed this Alhamdulillah". One question how do you conciliate if you're spouse is not practicing Muslim?. We are arguing after every couple of months it's like a routine and I'm getting tired feel like divorcing but I don't want to because of the wonderful children Allah(SWT) has blessed us with.

I have a question Iman Omar: If you have relatives who indulge in communicating with Jinns and even claim they have Jinn or Rouhani as they like to say, who reside within them, they use these mediums as economic means, saying they are solving spiritual problems and issues for different people! My personal view of all these is Shirk! Is it advisable to maintain relationships with such people!? Please kindly advise! Shukran, Jazak'Allah Khair........
