How to maintain your Dyson V15 Detect™ cordless vacuum.
This film includes subtitles. To get the most out of our videos we recommend viewing with subtitles turned on.
To keep it working at its best, your Dyson vacuum needs simple regular maintenance. These including emptying the bin before the MAX mark is reached, washing the soft roller brush bar and washing the filter unit once a month.
Don’t put any part of your machine in a dishwasher or use detergents, polishes or air fresheners.

Nope. Dyson is made to last and you can use accessories meant for the older stick vacuums like the V7 and V8 on the newest stick vacuums like the V15.

In Romania your representative sells resealed products (on site does not specify that the products are resealed but I received all the products with traces of wear, dust) with batch number from 2020 with defect in the filter sensor, their only explanation is that they do not know the batch no and they will return your product until you find a one that works properly. I'm already on the third product and it's still defective. I asked to get my money back.

Tineco has an S12 model during the V11 era. The next Tineco will probably be the S69, and the new Dyson after the V15 will be the V1337

Great video, I’m 6’8 at the start of Covid I weighed 287 , now at 61 years old, I weigh 225 my old college basketball weight. Just with Sea Moss and Moringa and juicing vegetables and a few fruits , don’t want the sugar intake of fruit. I do and overnight oats breakfast called Brave , after I get out of my home gym. I have a lot of equipment but the Concept 2 rowing machine helped me the most! Sorry for the long post ! Peace and free breathing

I just used my brand new Dyson V 15 detect and after 15 minutes of use it said stop wash and dry filter completely before continuing I only used it for maybe not even 15 minutes maybe 10 minutes in my floors are extremely dirty or is there something else going on

Do we have to clean the filter when we use it for the first time? I just bought one 3 days ago but it saying to clean the filter I just did a testing didn’t even do a proper cleaning. But disappointed. I have to let it dry doe 24hrs. I don’t know whether I should return it or not.

Hi Victoria, The Dyson Laser Slim Fluffy™ cleaner head is engineered with soft nylon and anti-static carbon fibre filaments to remove dust from hard floors and narrower gaps. And the Laser detects the particles you can’t normally see making invisible dust visible on hard floors, so you don’t miss anything.

My dyson v15 vacuum, the dust goes beyond the max limit even if there’s only few dut collected. The trap between the max line is to short to trap the dust

Can a mild soap (diluted) be uaed to wash the roll? What about the blue strips on the bottom? I am tempted to use clorox wipes, but I am not sure if it will ruin it. Thank you!

The worst experience ever - even though the vacuum seems so promising and despite all the good reviews previous vacuums had, Dyson still neglects to retire all the vacuums that have the filter issue (where an error message appears after only 3 minute of using it). I returned three units because all three had the same issue. I am so disappointed especially since I was expecting a better experience for the price you pay for them

1 month old and pulsing all clean but still has this issue especially if you run over carpet then still does it on tiled floor. For the price I am not impressed.

The lady rubbed her thumb on the filter for just a second, and thinking it was done like that just to save time in the vid, I did the same but all around the filter…now the white fibers in the bottom half of the filter are fluffed up, pilling, and coming off…THE VID NEEDS MORE CLARITY

It’s interesting that Dyson doesn’t care as much about the UK market. I think I’m right in saying the V15 won’t be available in the UK for some time and the V11 outsize comes with a spare battery in the US but not in the UK. It’s pretty disgusting how they treat the UK.

We care about all our markets but some markets react differently to different products therefore some products and items will be different for a different country. This is the same case in many industries even the motor vehicle industry.

Horrible video how about all the tangled hair next to the laser ? You can never remove this. But the roller that barrely needs cleaning gets a video ?
