Lovely. I’m a medieval dancer. My interpretation process suggested a bit like Stripping the Willow where a pair dances with everyone in a line then it turned into a little circle like Earl of Oxford (I think I got that name right except it’s danced in eight with two lots of four not 6 and two watching). Then there was a complicated swapping bit I thought was more or less like a hey without arms. Pretty and intricate!
This is in Kansas City. The group is mostly focused on Scottish Highland Dance which is pretty female-dominated nowadays. So there weren't any boys available for this performance.
That was a heck of a pace and meant the set had to be very tight. Maybe a little slower tempo and spread the set a little more to allow more space between the dancers. But that's not to detract from the dancers who were great, despite it all!
