This song is so amazingly beautiful, it's like i wanna keep it all to myself, lock it up safe and warm in my heart; but at the same time, i want everyone in the world to hear this magic, to feel the love in her words, her voice; sad part is, they'd ruin it, make it a sham that they couldnt understand like we do, and that makes me sad, to know that billions of people could live life just to live and be happy and feel love and yet they choose to listen to 'gucci gang' when there is this lovely magic out here, songs that make you feel like you live in a cloud safe and fluffy and happy forever...
this song has made me cry so many times. and tbh i think i interpret the lyrics differently than other people, because paired up with the sad tone of the music and the way she says “how can i resist, when it feels like this?” I feel like the song is her trying to convince herself to be in love. Like the person in front of her would ideally be perfect, and they make her feel amazing, but there’s something about the relationship that isn’t right so she has to end it. but she’s convincing herself she shouldn’t, which is why she’s asking herself “how could i resist?” I just feel a sadness in the song that makes me feel sad from listening to it. i absolutely love it

Oh WOW. There are a lot of love songs out there, but this is possibly the most ROMANTIC song I’ve ever heard. I love the line ‘Like a light came on’ - beautiful imagery. Those chords in the verses are gorgeous, and then the interplay between their minor character and the major chords of the chorus give the song a warm tone overall. Lovely.
