Sébastien! Thank you for this awesome interview with Thibaud! This was so informative and when listening to his take on experiences and memories, things make a lot of sense (scents haha)!! Thank you for inviting Thibaud to talk of his adventures and future releases for Maison Crivelli! Merci!!
I like how passionate Thibaud is and I really appreciate him for letting each person create his/hers own memory when wearing or smelling his fragrances. I like most of their fragrances, especially Iris malikhan and Lys solaberg, but the new patchouli it's also quite interesting. Waiting forward to their new fragrances. Thank you for the video!
I loved this conversation! He seems like a really thoughtful person when it comes to the background and story of a perfume. I am so curious about the hibiscus one, I need to get a sample.
Thanks for this Sebastian! I am so impressed and intrigued by Maison Crivelli and feel lucky to have had the time to listen to the founder speak of each of the inspirations behind his pieces. I too could have listened to you both discuss perfume notes for hours ❤ .. thank you for inviting us into this delightful conversation. You bring the world of perfumery to many of us who aren't able to travel and allow us to share in experiences we will remember. Love love love. Please keep this content going it's fantastic.
I love the French..let me say that first! They are so romantic and philosophical..These fragrances sound just so unique and I love his inspiration and the way he approaches these scents and lets each creation stand alone! I have had Iris Malikhan on my radar since you first spoke on it Sebastian..I promise I am going home and buying one of these creations today! Maybe the Iris but I also love Rose and the Hibiscus sounds great! Hibiscus grows around my town everywhere- here in Florida..I will let you know which one I settle on. But, thank you for such a cool interview! xoxo
Bought this sample set awhile ago (wo Hibiscus and Patchouli). So many wonders! I could easily buy five of them: Papyrus Moleculaire, Iris Malikhan, Lys Solaberg, Santal Volcanique and the reason why I got the sample set (searching for the perfect salty rose) Rose SaltiFolia. What a brilliant house. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I have a special appreciation for brands that take inspiration from around the world and create works that are romantic and adventurous. Can't wait to try their amber!
And that's just it - it's a very unexpected Patchouli. I did not expect such an intense tropical lactonic ride but there's also a wet chalkiness to the composition. Would love to discover something that works for me from this house.
This house just recently came across my timeline in FB but seems a cool fine house. Thanks for this wonderfull interview with Thibaud, Sebastien (if I got your name right)!
Just got my Maison Crivelli sample kit and tried Iris Malikhan. It is SO good! Now I get why you like it so much, Sebastian! (I guess we have similar “noses”, LOL!) Thanks for the recommendations and for this very interesting interview with Thibaut. I can’t wait to try the rest of the fragrances in the sample kit!
Here in October 2023, and Maison Crivelli have created "Oud Maracujã" in their Extrait line. A rich and smooth Oud leather scent and I enjoy wearing it very much.
I’m fascinated by the concept of developing fragrances inspired by experiences. As it is unlikely that I will ever make it to all of these diverse locations, I will have to try. Just ordered a sample set.
Excellent interview! Absinthe Boreal was my first full bottle purchase. A friend begged me for my sample from a discovery set. I ordered the full bottle the next day. Easy to fall in love with.
@@maggspaine5419 Its not really a huge projecting fragrance that last long. But it is a fragrance that, when heated up ( gym, spring, summer) it will flourish.
I purchased their discovery set and 2 samples of extracts - I enjoy discovering these so far. Hibiscus is lovely. Also, defo recommend checking the website for full eperience including other senses, not only smell :). With Patchouli - there is a note that I am not sure I fully appreciate on my skin but this fragrance is growing on me slowly. Can't wait to see more from this house.
Extracts (Extrait) de Parfum is perfume, but in a very concentrated form. It's possibly the strongest form of fragrance concentration short of pure oils. Here, in this video, the fragrance is 30% pure fragrance oil, which means they are extremely powerful and long lasting. ✌️
