The Ferrari F50 was a limited-production Supercar that was produced from 1995 until 1997. Only 349 units were made, and it is widely considered to be one of the most iconic modern Ferrari vehicles. This is Maisto’s replica of the 1990’s legend. Is this model worth adding to your collection? Find out in my review!

I love this model . This is a re release model i guess remember it came in red and yellow. The pearl white finish on this is stunning. The gaps between the parts could have been finer.

It's a very very old model in the line so they used the same kind of build quality back when it was released only the paint may have been the change

Ferrari F50 still looking great after so many years. I have the same casting in RED.

The red version is one of the best looking IMO.

If you pressed the rear body, take a look at the rear suspension. On the tip of the shock absorber, we will see part poking out with red color (mimicking the color of real part). The real car doesn't do the poking, but it's cool Maisto did that

So cool! We dont get this in Europe. I have 17 different colored F50 (Bburago, Maisto, HW) and dont have white hard top version. We can't buy it here and I guess it would be too expensive to buy it brom USA.

Extra information: Hotwheels version is the exact same casting as the Maisto. There are a few differences of course, such as no rear springs (most of the time), A gap in the rear spoiler, no F50 Interior logo, no f50 license plate. As for the Bburago Italy, it is, in its own way, a piece of art. Of course it isn't as detailed as the Maisto (esp. Engine), but the other aspects just feel more artsy. (Some details are also not present on the real car). There is a super rare Hotweels Elite F50, which i am searching (also same casting as Maisto, but yes it's better by a good margin).

Thanks for that clarification. The release histories of the Maisto and Bburago versions are confusing, and the existence of the Hot Wheels version only adds to the confusion. I think the Hot Wheels version is the best "budget" 1/18 F50 overall. I did not mention the Elite version or any of the high-end resin versions that are out there since they are largely unattainable for most.

The Bburago one looks terrible. If the model has details the real car does not then what is it trying to depict? Hot wheels elite castings are rare due to being produced in limited numbers.

Yes, it surely doesn't look the best, or very realistic at that, but the extras such as the bag in between the seats, the undercarriage which is filled with ferrari logos, as well as car info, and the interior too. Keep in mind, it is the oldest F50 1:18 compared to the maisto or other brands, and Imo it's just a nice model to have, especially if it is a original batch version whose age is nearly 27 years now, which is what i have. As for the Elite, yes. It is one of the first hotwheels elites, and only about 5000-10000 examples were made i think.

@@olandscape I kind of prefer a model to be a more accurate representation of the real car hence why I don't prefer the Bburago model in this case.

@@traviswalker8933 of course! Different people have different taste after all. It is older hence harder to find in new condition anyway, so the new maisto is the best bet for a good F50.
