Level of service & top shelf alcohol options are better at Majestic! Catalonia is much more budget focused, but still a good option

Hi! On one of your videos it looks like you are using an app to view the schedule of activities. Can you tell me which app? We are visiting in October. Also, do you recommend me calling to request or make any reservations prior to arrival? Love your videos!

Hey Lynnsey, this is their website where you can see the daily activities, and menus! You can’t make any reservations prior to arrival, you’ll do that with your butler or concierge upon arrival. Have a blast! appmecm.majestic-resorts.com

Thanks for the video. Since you like Mexico and you go there all the time, what’s the best month to go there ? In terms of the seaweed situation -which month that has less seaweed on beach?

while seaweed is unpredictable, its worse in the summer months! However, the Costa Mujeres area doesn't get hit very hard

Which room type do you prefer and would you recommend staying in either the elegance club one bedroom or the majestic junior suite swim up?

I prefer the swim up. The larger (not junior) is worth it if you can afford it. It’s the same layout as the one bedroom, but with the swim out.

@@stephaniesailsman756 my favorite thing is probably the value. You get a lot here for the money! It feels much more expensive than it is. So it’s hard to name one thing, it’s just an overall good pick. If i had to pick something, i love that the drinks are made with fresh ingredients. Day 5 is loaded and will be out at 4pm tomorrow. Have an amazing honeymoon 🥳

I was just there in December and honestly it’s a beautiful resort. However the food is ok. If your a meat eater your definitely going to be disappointed the meat has a gamey taste it’s actually gross. Don’t waste your time time eating at the Mexican restaurant the food has no taste. Your better of eating at the Mar hour or flavors. This is a vacation for people who love to eat their money’s worth and it’s extremely boring at night time there’s no casino. I felt like I was on lockdown for a week being stuck in the same place.

What a bummer you didn’t enjoy your time! There are only a handful of casinos at resorts in Mexico, and all resorts have varying entertainment levels. I hope you research a better option for your next trip.
