Thank you so SO much for this video! I just booked on the discovery princess the same room and was really worried about the obstruction since there were no photos. I compared deck plans and it seems they're identicle for deck 8 so fingers crossed we should have essentially an identicle room.
@DR-fr7ur yes they are sister ships, The Discovery may have a canopy over the deck below so may impede some downward view but the outward view should be fine. I really enjoyed this room.
Question - did you experience any excessive noise from deck 7 below? Or from the outdoor areas? I've always been warned against taking a cabin above public areas. Thanks!
No excessive noise from below. It is not an overly large promenade. The only real downside to this particular area is the lights at night. They are attached to the railing and come into your balcony some.
