MAJESTICA - Above The Sky Opinion ► Pictures, Noise and Words 

There must come a point in these singers lives when they figure "Well, I like hard rock, and my voice sounds like this, so power metal it is then." I'm glad to see bass players in metal starting to come in to their own more prominently.

This is the best album of the year so far......by an absolute country mile. The song is unashamed tribute to Eagle Fly Free. Tommy Johansen said it was in an online video. That's also Helloweens drummer but he is not an official band member of Majestica

That singer is Tommy Johansson the current guitarist of Sabaton, i hope they use his vocals some in Sabaton that would be great

the drummer of Majestica is Helloween's ex-drummer Uli Kusch, also the band's name was ReinXeed, they have changed now for Majestica.

Fun stuff! Loved the variety of 'vintage style' instruments and use of the Rickenbacker bass and Les Paul in a metal song. Enjoyable!

I can't say I love the vocal style but the guy does have a quality voice and the band plays great.

Maybe not the best of the best power metal, but it was still a good bit of fun. The chorus also sounded a bit like DragonForce to me, but that's not a bad thing, they're also a good bit of fun (though that could just be my age, being more familiar with DragonForce than Helloween, I need to go back and listen to more Helloween). Another power metal recommendation: Freedom Call - Metal Is For Everyone. Their newest album is filled with power metal that is just plain fun. High Up is another personal favorite off it.

Musically very ok. Those vocals will never fit into what I like in metal. That won't say this is bad. I just don't like the vocal style.
