Can't get enough of Tommy can we. I tell you, us Tommy and Tommy reactions watchers really get into stress these days. Tommy's/ Majestica's masterpiece of christmas music. The story is perfect for a metal concept album and they just outdid themselves. I know Tommy wrote the songs but they all worked together on the arrangements. This song just shows so much the past of Ebenezer Scrooge. In the words and music. A sad and hurting man who cannot deal with pain and loss and therefore lashes out at the world. Tommy's music shows exactly that. Just brilliant
It's the year of Majestica. This Christmas album is certainly getting played these days. The Christmas Carol set to music by Tommy like this and illustrated by him as well There is a BTS well worth watching, showing the Majestica members trying out costumes and building set details themselves. It's very much DIY, just like VoicePlay making their videos. It's not only Tommy singing, the other members participated in different roles.
I knew Tommy from Sabaton but didn't know really anything about him, and I slowly started to become a fan of his when he started doing Disneyton and of course he is doing like the Christmas stuff now. But this song just gave me a ton of new respect for him. He literally took brand new lyrics and put it on top of a metal version of "Hark, the Harold Angel's Sing"
And the lyrics are mainly Dickens own words. It takes a special kind of genius to se how you can combine such disparate things. Just like in the Disneytons. One wonders if he was good at putting squares through round holes as a child.
The best Christmas album ever! Majestica = Christmas 🎄🤶🎅 And talking of goosebumps, angels we have heard on high, gives me goosebumps from the hair downwards, everytime i listen, its just too beautiful 😊 Edit: do This Christmas next, its awesome 😊 And glory of Christmas Tommy draw the video for it, the man has so many talents 😊 Heres the link for the RU-vid playlist for the album ru-vid.com/group/PLoYF8Gv4x6bcLRucA-9k-ZZ8It8pTkx-o
Definitely check out the whole Christmas Carol album, it's the best Christmas album I have ever heard. It tells the whole story of Scrooge, basically it's few dialogues short of a musical. For this album Tommy mixed his original music with the familiar Christmas carols, simply fantastic. Just be sure to check out the extended edition (11 songs)
