Majid's dancing vocabulary is incredible. Every round he does something that blows me away. Alex dances exactly how my brain hears the music. So natural. Awesome battle!
@@jamesonjunky I am dancing for 2 years he is dancing his entire life so yeah of course but thats not the fact. It is my own opinion about him I dont like his style and his attitude. And Alex is on a way higher level than Majid in my eyes. period
Alex showed that you dont need to go full energy and beatkill every sound, so much skill with basic looking moves but they were delivered in such a groovy way
Not to cut you off, but I think he goes full energy - he could easily see the bigger picture. He uses his energy efficiently, like where to show the complex moves or floor works or speed change, misdirection, etc. to bring the real momentum worthy of the position! We both saying he dope!!
@@gangtazzer8996 im thinking about the overall energy of his sets. Alex even beatkills more by connecting his steps to fit the music, not making steps to beatkills, everything makes sense in his rounds
@@davidphillips1845 agreed man, Alex's dancing to me is hypnotic though i feel with Majid that he really blows me away every single time.. he just makes me look at my screen with a nasty face ahaha, damnn lit.
Your confidence level must be really high to dance the way Alex dances. In his nonchalant attitude every move is accounted for. He knows what he is doing
MAAAAAAAAAAN!!!! I dunno, Majid's tiebreaker was SIIIIICK!!!!! I see why Alex won though, he went SSJ on the last round EDIT: I just noticed that Alex chose completely different moments to hit the beatkills on the tiebreaker....what a legendary statement
First time I saw Alex dancing was something like 10/9 years ago, cercle underground, legion x junior... What a journey and what a beast he has become. You could already noticed that he had something different and special in the way he was feeling and following the beat, his old school style has always been super clean, a very elegant musicality... I mean it looks like he understood what he was missing and worked hard during those years to get where he's right now, I'm amazed by Alex for so many reasons... He'll be Top 5 hip hop freestyler ever imho.
Feel you same here ! He once said in an interview he was missing physicality/power in his dance to be able to win. Can't deny it's something he improved a lot these past years (among everything else lol)
Crazy that Alex had his eyes closed for the majority of every battle. He literally didn't see his opponents at all. I like that confidence. He deserved the win
Une final très lourdaxxx ! Majhid a cartonné ! Mais Alex a fait de très grosses variante avec des styles différents a chaque round il mérite clairement la victoire !
Alex's last round is the best one i've seen in all of hip hop battles. That shit came from another world. You can see it in the judges reactions as well.
Majid ich schaue das Battle jetzt und zuvor 5 mal an ich finde dein Style zu krass so wie von Alex ich bin ein Fan von Alex aber ich hätte dir den Sieg bei diesen Battle gegeben.
That last round of Alex , the timing of the way he read the song 🎧 is too much. I watched more than 10 times to get although I knew the song. That was too high level omg
i love both 1000% and follow them from day 1 but last round looks kinda biased for my taste dunno majid took the tiebreaker with the first 30 seconds tbh
Have anyone heard of ICEE? I think Alex had a very similar style to his. Unorthodox yet appeasing. Edit: upon further research, I realized they have battled together and against each other on multiple occasions. So definitely have some influences there.
It's similar cadence at certain time and dance always follows a clear path structure. The appearance of similar is mainly that. While some have apparent no clear structure, they appear mostly as going unrehearsed and random by feeling, Alex appears as rehearsed and like he would be constantly calculation what he is doing. ICEE has that too up to a point but not exactly the same. There is a bit of animation, theatrics and bucking (pausing for a bit to blow-up then pausing again to do the same) to many dancers today, not that much with Alex. I remember Alex of 8 years ago, he appeared to be calculated then still and that appeared original (Battle Break Ya neck " 2e Edition ")
Alex's style and way of dancing, you can really see that he is probably inspired by Icee and Physs, he has similar movements, styles and musicality in the 3, their way of dancing is similar, which consists more in feeling the music than I want to play hard moves to impress the judges, I feel like a lot of dancers do that, they try to impress more with big moves during the song than trying to hear and feel the song itself, and have the moves naturally go along with the music.. And these 3 quoted are different.. Not that the others don't feel the songs, they do too, but Icee, Physs and Alex feel much more, to understand this, see several battles of several other dancers and compare seeing several battles of them, and it will be noticeable , in addition to the others it has a lot of repetitive movements.. With all due respect to Dykens, Ukay, Jimmy Yudat, Sam Yudat, and Fabreezzy who are also great, with all due respect to those who are fans of them too, and I love it see everyone dancing, and Fab is another legend, one of the pioneers in hip hop, much admired, but the movements of those mentioned are very repetitive, they hardly innovate their movements in current battles, despite the good musicality they have.. And I think Icee, Physs and Alex are 3 of the few in the hip hop scene and world that show this battle after battle. Every battle can see that they try not to repeat the same movements, because they feel more the music and the movements come naturally, they even repeat one movement or another, because each one has their own dance style, but they don't repeat most of the movements, like the others. Apart from the floor and floor movements of the three, you will hardly find other dancers who work as well on the floor, and have movements, as they do. If the DJ leaves 10/20 minutes of music, Alex and Icee mainly will have vast movements throughout that period, without losing the beat and without leaving the music, Physs a little less, but will still be able to perform well. They are very dynamic.
@@adrianolopes7473 you worded that perfectly in my opinion. I do believe it’s the way they all feel the music and allow it to orchestrate their dance moves. Well spoken sir 🙌🏾
Wtf is going on around Alex. Is there something, I can't understand? For me he looks like good stable dancer. Didn't met him before, but I can't see something incredible, makes him winner. But can in Majid. I'm lost now
