Imagine a full size Amiga replica with full mechanical kb, floppy drive, CD-ROM, FPGA core, high-quality audio DAC and AMP with DSP and RAM for sound fonts, would be really amazing if they had Evercade style Amiga releases, some on floppy, some on CD, I also really hope it has proper analogue video outputs for hooking up to a CRT monitor and TV, or at least an official good quality external RAMDAC for converting digital video to analogue (HDMI2VGA/S-Video), I'd be happy if it just had a nice quality S-Video output or even component.
Great news about the A500 Maxi as it's right up my street in terms of the games I used to play that needed a keyboard. I did get a keyboard for the mini and connected it via a USB splitter, but it doesn't work perfectly and often causes the screen to freeze. The puzzling thing to me is that I am not a typical Amiga player and can't think of many games that require a keyboard that would appeal to a wider audience. Next news to look out for therefore is what games will be on the carousel.
Albo to akcesorium to joystick od The400 sprzedawany osobno. :( Mam nadzieję, że wypuszczą jednak stacje dysków do commodore, magnetofon, stacje do amigi osobną oraz wbudowaną i CD-Rom/nagrywarkę do A500... oczywiście wiosełka i kontroler (Atari 5200) do A400 oraz joysticki QuickShot różne.
@@YouveBeenGamed I was worried the Amiga Maxi was going to get cancelled or indefinitely postponed, so seeing it getting a release next year is great and I'm now fine with guessing about details. It's part of the fun. :)
The Product update needs to be a new Version of VICE for TheC64 and a newer Version of AmiBerry for TheA500 Mini. Everthing below that would be pretty disappointing.
48k Speccy was already tiny so it could be that. Id like to see a 128k+ though. With the catalogue of games it makes sense that it would be a spectrum next or on the radar of releases.
I had heard the product update thats out before the end of the year is another firmware update for the A500 mini they mentioned in a recent interview about a month or so ago.
@@YouveBeenGamed The only reason I think it's the announcement of the new mini console is on the basis they use the term 'product', which to me implies a physical thing as opposed to new firmware - although that would tie in with the term 'update'! Who knows, we wait and see.
@@jamesbarker5535 last firmware was in May 2022. Its strange that the A500 hasnt been given much updates like the C64 did. It could do with more fixes and sort out some of the speed issues with some games. I know theres mods like AGS, Aminimiga etc... but i couldnt never get them to work right

I'm assuming nothing. But as we already have an A500 Mini I may have said A500 Maxi, in the same way that we got a C64 Maxi after the C64 Mini. Who knows what we'll actually get?
I notice it says new full size Amiga and not A500. Does this mean an official machine? I sincerely hope it’s NOT a full size A500. An A1200 would be good but an A600 would be ok for me
A maxi needs more power to run Jim power and the first samurai properly for example. if it’s just the same thing in a bigger case I’ll pass and I love my a500 mini just wish it could play all the Amiga games correct Iv no interest in other emus
