@@mccolycoken this was probably only a few months after SP did that first big freestyle if that. they went that much bigger yet. figgas had just released or were about to release their first single and album with a major label. they were still on track to sign with cash money so things were still looking great for them.. wasn't until the beef happened and the "black balling" happed that they really got outshadowed by state p. in addition to the album not getting a great response after the first single. From what I know anyway I heard it was like MF was popping in the streets in 98 and then beans and Free dropped in like 99 and then state P didn't really come out til 2002 w/ da album they only had that radio thing and a tour in 2001.. and were doing the soundtracks and movies n stuff. figgas were still buzzing in the streets from 98-01 but by like 03 after spade went to jail n the group broke up ppl had forgotten about dem and were ridding with Jay and beans Bec they were on top

It really wasn't that big a deal.. ppl always hype it up and say got dropped on his head and suplexed into a range rover and all this crazy shit.. but idk sounds like cap. Its cuz its was on South Street and cuz of what happened later and whatever. It was a bad jawn tho

Who LA? yeah I guess.. he got punched and then got punched again later but had brought the strap with him.. not sure if I'd really call that getting beat up buy it was enough that spade felt the need to come back and find him and fight him again and thats when he pulled the gun out
DNA evidence.. chris didn't snitch but I know there are rumors about him coming to court when spade got sentenced. Dunno if its it true. Rip lip ruccie as well
