MAJOR Knicks Walker Kessler Trade UPDATE! 

Deuce is my favorite Knick, but his anticipated limited minutes might mean he will languish on the bench. I would be happy to see him flourish. Walker addresses a major need for this team.

I luv deuce but I think he's buried on the bench with Mikal starting Josh & Dante are the 1st 2 guards off the bench how much time Deuce gonna get Kessler would fit seamlessly

Trade Sims a 1st and 2 2nds. That should get it done for a backup C with potential.

Wrong answer Robinson would fall behind Kessler. Mitchell is injury prone and has been his whole career. Having Mitch come off the bench would hopefully keep him healthier longer

McBride and a protected 1st get it done. Kessler would make the Knicks a top 5 NBA team and put the East on notice. Mitchell would be better suited coming off the bench do to his injury history

We need a center more than we need a guard .

I love Deuce but lets move him for kessler. Kessler is young, can shoot, can protect, can space out he can do more than IH can do with cheap contract. We can have Kolek backing up Brunson facilitating while we hav divo and hart scoring off the bench

As much as I like Deuce, this would hopefully make the team better. I was there for the two championships, and would like to see another in my old age.

We can S&T Precious to a 3rd team for a 2nd and then add our two surplus 2nds from the draft. Three seconds have same value as a first. Get it done. (Not giving up Deuce - a highly strategic piece, ie, a very low cost defender that shoots 40% from three.)

🟧🟦🟧🟦🟧🟦🟧🟦I’m a huge fan of Deuce, but I think the Knicks should do the trade if it’s Deuce, One 1st rounder and a 2nd rounder for Walk-Man. This addresses our needs perfectly: + a good, gritty, solid, smart, versatile, healthy, young malleable 7 footer. We already have plenty guard play. This opens it up for T Kolek and Rokas and the G spots. Guards: Burner, DiVo, Mikal, Tyler, Rokas, JHart, KMac. That’s plenty. Forwards: King Julius, OG, Mikal, JHart, JTop, KBD, PDadiet. Centers: Mitchie-no-Snitchie, Walk-Man, JSims, Incredible HUK(porti) +/- Precious (when playing small) . Someone has to go: maybe Precious, maybe Sims? Maybe not!! A couple are going to G league. Decisions need to be made, but it’s a nice problem to have. Hate to lose Deuce, bc he’s given us his all. It’s a tough decision and it’s way above our pay grade. Let’s go Knicks!!! 🟧🟦🟧🟦🟧🟦🟧🟦

I like Deuce a lot, but if you can trade him + a first for 23 year old Kessler you do that and never look back. Multi-talented young bigs are more valuable than smallish guards with limited point skills. Kessler is with CAA, so Ainge might not look to overplay his hand. Gotta pick your battles.

If Knicks can’t get Kessler pivot to Richards. He might cost less than 1 first round pick as he is a second round pick. Ainge is asking too much so let him keep Kessler while Knicks can trade for Richards for time being and sign Achiuwa. If Achiuwa opts to sign for more $ elsewhere then also sign Theis who can play back up 4 & 5 like Achiuwa. Theis is 6’9 and has experience before some team signs him. The more the Knicks wait the list of FA gets less and less and impact their championship run. Need to build chemistry with players and takes time. Sims and 1 second round pick for Richards which is cheaper than Kessler

Kessler was destroyed by rookie yesterday Edey 14 point 15 boards 4 blocks , Kessler playing summer league in 3rd year 64 games last year as backup benched end of year ! No thanks

Not for a 1st Rounder. Maybe for Deuce now that they Drafted a real Point. DiVincenzo can bring those points and defense off the bench. At most Deuce and 2nd Rounder for Kessler.

And I think McBride for Kessler is good because Bridges is the new shooting guard and Brunson is the point. DiVencenzo is the backup. There’s no minutes for McBride.

I will not give Mc Bride to Dany Ainge, instead I will give Mc Bride to any other team than Utah, after what Ainge did to New York with Donovan Mitchell. Let every restricted and unrestricted player stay with Utah, and get them one by one after their contracts are expired.

A lauri and Kessler swap with Randle and Mitchell Robinson would be nice just my opinion having watched the Knicks for a long time they’ve lacked a stretch 4/5 for quite some time outside of Porzingis and in the playoffs bigs tend to be left open on the perimeter while guards are trapped to force turnovers in the middle of the court if your bigs can shoot Brunson gets to play 1v1 and cook his matchup

Miles McBride's impact on winning is a thousand times better than anything Kessler could do to a game with a gun. Learn more before you say more. This isn't a McBride fan-boy comment, this is pointing out the importance of being realistic. If this kid's upside's "through the roof," why's he on the block for a single pick? Check his most recent SL game.

I would give up McBride, Pacome, Kolek, Sims, and a 2031 unprotected 1st round pick for Kessler.
