I don't know if there is any team that should truly be considered S tier. And with your own explanations (lack of consistency, JW's sleepiness, etc.), I think you grossly overrated DPC. I probably would have dropped The Fives to D tier partially because I think they're incomplete as a team (no offense to Zane but he's not a "leading man"). And the Hunter Johnson pick probably also should have dropped the Mad Drops to D as well. But I also might just be annoyed that there are 5 teams in C tier and none in D. I'd probably also drop the Ranchers to C (I know you're biased). Very high ceiling but very low floor. How will Christian do without Riley and a Kawamoto by his side?? In its place, as much as I'd like to say DC gets moved up to B (I am biased), I think Jack Sock is absolutely gonna go off in MLP, so I'd move the Hustlers up to B.
The D tier was grossly under utilized. I think all of your takes here are very reasonable. You are probably right that there is no true S tier (though Seattle could’ve bought their way into it) but I felt obligated to put a team there (unlike the D tier for some reason).
I think you're 100% right about Seattle. Largely guaranteed Men's and Mixed A wins... And Koop and Irvine are both good and could win a good amount but they're far from dominant. Now... if they spent all their money and got someone better than Colln, at least for mixed....
3 weeks later and I'd say Alshon and Pisnik's value continues to rise. Etta's too, and she was already a top woman in mixed and gender doubles. Orlando got even stronger and Utah got even weaker after the trade. DPC looks the strongest to me as well. I think Hurricane and Augie have had more good showings since this draft. Augie has just been a supernova onto the scene.
