What a transformation!! It looks so cozy, and the sectional looks comfy and inviting. Just a suggestion--what do you think about a mirror over the fireplace and layer the print over part of it? To my eye, the print seems too small and loses its punch. Great job.

If I do find a good mirror that I like, I’ll definitely add it!! I’ll be doing a stone veneer with over grout on the fireplace and up the wall soon so that will be the perfect spot for one!

What matters is that you love it, I did this color 2 years ago in my living room, I didn’t love it, gave it some time to get use to it and ended up hating it, it darkened the room so much I couldn’t stand it and repainted it right before this last past Christmas, not for everyone but that’s ok it’s about your taste and how you love how it looks…great video!

So I have this same paint color in my office and I’m starting to not like it in there. Mainly because it feels SO dark so I definitely agree with you! I think it really depends on the room. What I do love is that paint is the easiest thing to change!! I’m trying to find the energy to bust out the roller and make that office bright again lol

I was terrified when I started painting but I’m so glad I trusted the process lol! I think next up I’ll do a darker limewash on the fireplace or do stone veneer all the way up the wall. It’s hard to pick!

I like it, but it feels like the tv should be above the fireplace. The couch could face the fireplace. The chairs could be on the right or the left wall with a big wall art piece above them. You could kitty corner a gold trim mirror by the curtains or a book shelf. Again this is beautiful. I just picture your decor in a different angle. I hope my advice comes with love and support and not snobbish or mean. New supporter here. I still love your style. ❤❤❤ Also if you love it, keep it. It’s your beautiful space. Love the wall color and furniture placement. The fireplace is throwing me off, I would darken that color too, not black but maybe a deep chocolate. Or, keep it light but more the tone of the sofa. Beautiful cozy space!

Very pretty, I used to have darker and just went lighter! Lol. Not white, it's called Baby Fawn by Benjamin Moore, I LOVE it. I saw it in a friend's new home and know it was the color I was looking for. Enjoy your new space! 💗

So for the fireplace I’m debating on either doing a limewash/Venetian plaster or stone veneer but it’s a hard pick!!

YES!! I think Shae McGee has something like that in her spec home I believe. That’s definitely what I would envision for that space. The ceiling is pretty high too so I think having the stone go all the way up will make feel even bigger

Beautiful job! The paint color is perfect for your decor. Loving the sectional. That color is perfect! Would you say it’s more low profile type of sectional vs sitting up higher? I love the Oceanside by C&B but it’s too low unfortunately. Not comfy for a tall person. Also do you recommend it for kids and pets? Does it clean well?

It definitely sits in the middle. Not too high or low. We have a living spaces sectional in our theater room and that’s lower and deeper. The seating for the Chita one is on the slimmer side so I wouldn’t recommend it for tall people unless you like just sitting in it rather than full on lounging! It works great for us though because there’s no fluffing required and my two toddlers can climb it easily ☺️

I’ll be adding stone veneer here soon so it’ll definitely change! I didn’t want to spend on any decor I wouldn’t need later on. If I do find a good mirror, the print will be layered up front! ☺️

I like my “vintage” styled prints to have a matte textured look to them. The matte mod podge helps give it that look rather then it just be glossy regular photo paper 💕

¡Hola! el retrato se imprimió con papel glossy, y el mod podge es mate para quitarselo. Asi le da un aspecto realista más vintage. Tampoco agregué el vidrio al marco para que si viera mejor 🫶🏽💕

Just an fyi they have some similar at hobby lobby for 15 dollars each they were i sale at 40 percent off so 7 dollars they have a nice weight to them well made. In a pretty gold but can be painted any color . They may not be as nice s PB but they have that skinny look.

@@MMF6819 I print them at CVS! Costco is a cheaper alternative but I like being able to pick up in 2hrs. I use the Minute Photo app and pick the poster size option to print ☺️ I believe mine is 16x20

It’s Matte Mod Podge! I coated it on there to give it a matte textured look like real vintage art prints do. I followed the visible paint strokes to try and replicate the original painting if that makes sense!

@@cozyaholic yup! Just switch them around if it works for the needs of your family😊. On camera everything is so heavy on the right by the windows. Just a suggestion from an OCD designer…lol!
