Puff! I am not used to this. A short and sweet summary. We’re really on another level here. Another few years when Mombasa to Nairobi expressway, Nairobi to Mau Summit expressway, Nairobi to Marua expressway and the lapset corridor are all done, we will be on another another category. This government has delivered on infrastructure promises. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
To be honest Uhuru have out done himself But we have people who put Uhuru down and they av never built even a simple toilet for the public Instead they want to give people wheelbarrow
Tremendous work? According to what standards? The roads don't have any pedestrian lanes, bike lanes, there are no traffic signals or lights, etc. Y'all need to google what roads in the rest of world look like. We are still constructing roads like it's 1930. Tarmacing roads is not enough. And we pay taxes for all these projects. Stop making it sounds like he is doing us a favor for this substandards projects.
Good job as always Afrikan Traveller. Hey I haven't seen anyone do the Ngong Road-Kibera-Kungu karuma-Langata Rd link. Yk the one that turns off at Prestige Plaza ends at KWS. I think it has even stalled (I'm not sure) Plus southern by pass few videos. I'm sure most people would know how land is growing in value in these satellite towns getting all this brand new infrastructure. In a few days, 5 news towns will be gazetted into metropolitan areas. Means mega budgets & PPP projects to repair and inject new fresh needed infrastructure! Good job sir!
Thanks Afrikan Traveller for another fine update of what's going in Kenya for us in Diaspora to see.We need to make a Nairobi a complete international city with modern roads( currently underway)modern reliable quality water, electricity .drainage and sewer system.Modern BRT system( no more matatus)slums upgrade, police, fire and first aid emergency stations in all neighborhoods. Nairobi can then be a City like London.Paris,Barcelona..etc and attract international events like the Olympics,UN, International sports events like Diamond league.
@@sakhu8945Thanks very much possible for Nairobi to reach the status of Rio De janiero if we invest in Nairobi Infracstrure like mentioned roads, slums upgrade,BRT,reliable electricity and water system..etc The finance can be found if we stop the corruption that bleeds Kenya to the tune of $4.6 Billion a year as per Uhuru Kenyatta admission last year
@@kariuki8 There are countries that are more corrupt than Kenya and have nothing to show for the looted funds. Kenya has something to show!! There are slum upgrading programs too! And many other things. Rome was not built in a day. Kenya is slowly but surely making progress. You are normally very negative throwing comments and it seems you never learn.
@@esem135 Brother sorry for speaking the truth .I love Kenya and Africa very much.We can do better as a Nation because back in 1963 Kenya and S.Korea were even in GDP oF $3.5 Billion and in Infracstrure . S.Korea with hardly any natural resources today has GDP of $1.6 Trillion and first class infracstrure .Kenya today our GDP of $110 Billion and still lacking many basics Infracstrure. We cannot settle for second best or third best and that is not being negative
This is so well done boss lakini I think the colours may be too vivid 😎 Nairobi to me looks best in that cool bluish tint as I've seen in some of your earlier videos for example ile ya the rotating restaurant
👉🇰🇪Wow Kenya has become one of the BEST Country with Roads being built ALL Over the Whole Country.👌 👉With Mombasa Port Expansion and the New LAMU Port Kenya will need ALL these Roads for Sure for Smooth Transportation of Goods from these 2 PORTS.👍👌 Thanks African Travelers for Showing us the Progress.👏✔ 🇨🇦🇰🇪
12:32 thanks for the enloghtment, the project I wish you could cover (my wish) is the kitale lodwar nakadok (Kenya South Sudan border) was once a nightmare but construction still on going
Congratulations again. You make great videos. Kindly equalize your audio output. There's a huge disparity between the volume of your narrations and the interlude music. The music is too loud while the narrations are on very low volume.
We were shortchanged somewhere. Most of the interchanges on the Western Bypass were downgraded and now this is just another road. The section in Wangige is such a mess and I foresee traffic snarl ups in the service lane between the bypass and Getathuru road.
That's a nice update Afrikan Traveller and keep it up. Kindly update us on Embul mbul-Gataka road- Ongata Rongai road and the Karen- Olkeri-Matasia road that's been tarmacked (almost completed). will appreciate. You can do very nice drone shots of Ololua forest.
I love the crisp video Quality.Wow I didn't know about the Machakos turn off..it looks so nice 👌👌as for me the best road in Nairobi is the Ngong Road & the southern bypass!!..the finishing was so awesome..let's hope for the same on the western nd eastern bypass. Thika highway road is also well maintained. Meanwhile Outering road is the worst though new, it still needs serious final touches nd classy aesthetics.
Brava Kenya! To industrialization and creation of jobs! You cannot cover or mention all projects in Kenya or even Nairobi alone. Kenya’s moving, let the empty debes talk. Too bad the red soil really stains the roads.
it was so shortsighted when they decided all the bypasses should be dual except for eastern 10 years ago. now they are incurring extra costs to do what the initial designs should have included
Kenya needs good urban planning, the roads look good but the surrounding areas ruin the whole thing. Also why does the goverment fail to mark most of these roads?
LAPPSET Corridor, Dongo Kundu under construction. Another big thing coming.. Nairobi Central Station/Nairobi Railway City to start..bids already done and some awarded.
Maumau road project. Kiambu lot 1 Gataka in Githunguri to Gatakaini. Murang'a lot 2 Mairi to Kairo. Nyeri lot 3 Kairo to Njengo. Kinyona in Murang'a(my home) -Gatare-Njabini road in nyandarua
It surprises me when our Kikuyus abuse uhuru that he hasn’t done anything after seeing all the roads . I hope they won’t cry when hustler take office . Kudos uhuru for building infrastructures
Yes, by demolishing all those illegal structures and removing slum landlords. People should not act entitled to illegal occupation of public land and breaking laws. Public land is public land. Culture of impunity by both landlords and renters should be dealt with accordingly.
Kibaki build over 3000km and my dude Uhunyee has done over 10000km .Yet no appreciation. He's just over a 1000 les to overlap all four previous gvt including the colonial era total 123 years. We don't borrow to consume but to develop.
I agree! I have always said the same thing ... but in Kenya people tend to focus on the liability side of the balance sheet without looking at the Asset side. I hate these pedestrian discussions about debt especially by some uninformed TV presenters.
YOU NEED TO DO THE MTEZA BRIDGE THE LONGEST BRIDGE IN KENYA,THE MAKUPA,,,YOU NEED TO GO TO MALINDI,ROBEN ISLAND NEAR NASA SPACE STATION. AT THE DELTA OF TANA RIVER
Their is also some funny looking vocanic stones on your way to Bamba kilifi I think it's Kaloleni... around their. Very huge...you need to really. Be at the Coast, Vasco da gama, gady ruins,Jumba la mtwana also.
May be you can have an interview with the PS of Infra and take down notes before you meet and ask him about these road projects and he can explain why some roads do not have interchanges etc. Am sure the govt would like to spread the word on the work they are doing and youtubers like you are spreading the word for the govt.
I spent my childhood in nairobi.its been a long long time since I left nairobi.i am interested to see the residential areas how they look like now.njenge karume flats in park road.parklands school Residential areas around uchumi market.can I get a view of this pls.i am dying to see how it looks like now.
The next President now needs to complete these projects and (most importantly) invest in the manufacturing & technology sector. It will unlock the brilliance in East Africa. Too many minerals being wasted or sold for peanuts in the East African Community. Kuna pesa hapo.
Hello African traveller. As someone who has explored the major roads and projects being done by the president, are you confident he'll leave a strong legacy? Do you also feel that he could have done more or has he done enough? Your comments will be highly appreciated. Anyone else is al so open to comment.
As long as no industrial production is taking place, and agriculture continues to stagnate, and land use goes unregulated, and these so called ultra modern roads are being built by foreigners through loans....there is no real development taking place in the country
Afrikan Traveller: i have asked you several times to do the rest of EAC. Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi are calling. You will blow your subricbership.
I live in Kimende, where currently the Mau Mau Road is being built headed and I think it would be a great starting place. If you might need more details let me know
