Deliver The Bomb being blocked by terrain, Frozen Fjords, building Radar Towers blocked by terrain, weird terrain cases in SSD, and defending objectives surrounded by sloped terrain should all now be resolved issues.
i'm calling it rn tier 6 mats being used next, Every time we get a bunch of people saying it's over for STW they drop a big update on us, last year it was Frosted Fjords , new weapon's. Now the fake rumor is oh it's ending in another year or so because of the BR timeline leak, So why are they adding a new Hero if its over soon? it's Not over soon is why and i feel like bigger things coming, there just not communicating with us directly about new stuff anymore. So my prediction is tier 6 mats are next...
I wonder if this update has something to do with a blue resource that shows up as locked 🤔 I clicked over to clear the new resources indicator and saw something Blue and locked.
Another notable fix for stw is the friend adding glitch.. when you would enter a game lobby with other players.. and hit RT or R2 to switch through your loadouts, you would add all people in the lobby as friends. Now, the add friend is changed to L3 / left joystick press. Finally, I won’t accidentally add 100 friends per week 😂
its the fact that battle royale has always been like this that bugs me w/the fact fortnite originally used to be stw only, but @ least we finally got it instead of it never getting changed
I only just got on yesterday. Building in terrain is a massive boost for building defenses on missions where there's a tiny gap under the wall (ride the lightning etc)
Great news!! Fixed alot of reports/issues all at once. For the few bucks it originally costed stw is a huge value. People can be to critical of em considering, im happy for updates at all in a cheap 1time cost game.
Ironically, it's not in BR you can build without restrictions fully the only thing is BR map is big and mostly open space but there's actually a bunch of no build areas
The terrain update at least for canny valley stops you from being able to build floors/cones as a roof for your main ssd area. Like you could place a wall then floors or cones to use as the roof but not anymore. Was confused why this wasn’t working but just got my answer. :)
Not forgotten, but still definitely deserves more attention/recourses in my opinion. The fact that lego, rocket racing, festival, and BR are in the main promo art but not STW shows that.
Is Save the World available on Nintendo Switch? I knew jt always wasn’t but with the “new” way of getting to save the world I wonder if they made it available on switch
They made to so that blockoffs u would use to block ramps or passages in missions or in endurance do not work thus making half of the defenses in endurance useless because husks will now just go for the blockoffs instead going to the tunnel it made like most recycle builds completely useless
What do u count as an exploit. For example one of those blockoffs thay was patched was the one with the edited floor and cone that u used on the too of ramps
Building in terrain is gonna be awesome, especially for the frozen fjords ventures season, but i can only imagine a bunch of cheesey build strats will evolve that people will make heavy use of :/ But for the time being it is really cool

I’m so glad we can now build anywhere in stw, just last week I almost lost a build the radar mission because two pieces couldn’t be placed because it was too close to terrain. This will make the game so much nicer
People already have found smart ways to use new terrain by actually building wooden floor spikes over slopes basically makes it so they slowed down and dont get up from the drop traps :)
