Wow this version definitely changes the tone. The original sounds sulky and apologetic. This one actually sounds like the singer is facing a turning point in his life and coming to terms with his choices in the past and how it has effected those he should have cared for most.

This sounds remorseful, and in the same light sometimes hopeful, like the person regrets whatever they've done and truly wants to be better. Fighting through the guilt and desire to give up to try to carry on. There's, more soul, more drama, to this than the original. It's gorgeous!

you should do creep by radio head in a minor key

The lyric that really sticks with me is "I've found a reason to show, a side of me you didn't know, a reason for all that I do, and the reason is you" that is so powerful and I can relate to that so much it makes me cry

This should be played in an action movie like the scene where after loosing all hope the hero gets the will to fight back and does a badass walk to this song

Ya know this could be a wonderful theme song for Villain Izuku. Like it seriously fits him, the way he transitioned to the evil side, feels a bit guilty but still stays a villain to prove something. Gosh I love your covers!

I absolutely loved this particular song from the jump in the way back. It was like a thing between this guy I was seeing and myself. But this version, this version is like me right now. I feel like I can move on and not feel awful for wanting to do so. I found a reason to move on, to be the girl he never knew....and he will never get that part of me. I feel so freaking free!!!

This made me just realize why I love minor key. I love the original song a lot, but this gives it this dark, slightly mysterious Evanescence vibe. It also ultimately sounds more painful (emotional). Gives me goosebumps, very well done.

So chase was suggested to me by a friend as a teacher of music. Lately he has been showing up in "my mix" - I loved his "fireworks" cover, but this song is beyond that. This is how the original song should have been. I will never be able to hear the original ever again without thinking this cover is much better.

This was my favorite song what seems like a long time ago, and this cover not only made me feel nostalgic but it was amazingly beautiful. The minor key gives it that hint of desperation and epicness, while the original sounds very gentle and sweet. I love this a lot.

I first met your covers when I was watching a MEP and had loved the song, the description led me to your cover of Animal from Neon Trees. Then I listened to all of you other covers and I was in love, to say the least. I believe that there are covers that are better than the original songs and you beat the score! I absolutely love your voice, it's so beautiful and powerful and it only adds up to the type of covers you do. I love always love emotional, dark and deep feelings and you give that to songs that, originally, we wouldn't give much of a second thought, like your cover from All I want for Christmas is You, of course, there are songs that were already powerful by themselves but you manage to make them sound even deeper, complex, like there is a message underneath. This is one of my favorite covers from you, although I love all of your covers, which I might have listened to over a thousand times already. You became one of my favorite artists so much I sometimes imagine you appearing in one of those contests like Got Talent or X Factor, etc, I'm sure you would win either of them. This song will never ever get old. I used to listen to it all the time as a teenager. Hey, I really like your version/cover. You have the amazing ability to recreate songs.

Some of the lyrics make me think of a story where a killer (yandere) fell in love with a girl and tried to kill everyone close to her, but after seeing her reaction to finding her loved ones he decided to try and change so he didn't have to see her tears. Now I want to write a story of that. In any case I love your music, you must be so musically gifted and very skilled to adapt these songs into a more chilling version that haunts you, even after days of not listening to them.
