50s cells hit 80c temp at 20 amps, they’d be a performance downgrade from p42a if evolve ever used the extra battery amps those cells are capable of. And the 6874 is a typo, they are 6374 motors.
Also this 180a boost thing even if it was just motor amps isn’t a thing, those 6374s are only rated for 70 amps each at 50v, battery again is only really capable of safely providing 4000w max on a full charge.
Evolve lying? Nooo. That’s only what those china boards do. Evolve is a joke. This trailer had me laughing when they started throwing out 180A and 200A.
Half the specs are bs to those who know, no more than 100amps are capable out this pack and thats at full just for a few minutes. 50s cells aren't good at heat tolerance as we know. This actually a downgrade. Poor ignorant new riders that go by reviews like this .. do a bit of search before adding a review going by what they write in paper alone...
Another typical bait-y misleading title with obviously paid skimping video using stock videos which seem to be common these days on RU-vid which is crappy. People calls you out for not buying the board, make a facts and you delete the comments. Devolve is overpriced with outdated components and the motors that you shown in the video is only a bit wider.. not bigger and 6874 is typo on their website. Aren't you the same guy that asked about what pole pairs and gear ratios is? Aren't you also the same guy that sprayed water directly onto the electric skateboard? I feel bad for anyone that falls for these type of review videos with stock videos and thinking it's worth their time investing into overpriced boards like Devolve... .
Yes I have also asked what a wobble is before too. And what is a DKP truck is too just not long ago too. We all learn some at sometime. This is not a review. Just highlighting what I like about evolve Diablo. If that offends you, then I’m truly sorry.

The only reason that you liked about devolve board without having to actually own it is because they paid you to say positive things about them. Incredibly misleading title dude. You didn't buy the diablo, why are you saying you did? Also you're Incredibly bias on your reviews. Which having you're own opinion is fine but if you're gonna give a company flack for one thing, dont praise another company for doing the same thing. You are insane if you're praising evolve for another 12s4p build. Yet when you reviewed the hoyt tabor and metroboard pathfinder for their 12s8p, you gave them trash for using 12s batteries. Yet you gave evolve and everyone else praise for doing the same for a 12s4p?! For even less battery?! Thats messed up dude. Also there's nothing innovative about over current and heat protection. All boards already do this. My cheap exway flex er has this. Also these motors they're using are 6374. The motors they previously used is 6368. The website is a typo. Are you really justifying this board at a sales price of $2000?! You can an acedeck N3 for just less of that price and way more battery and power at 14s!
Hey all valid points. And I completely agree with ya. Evolve wouldn’t be my first choice. But I recently just got a review unit. It’s a shockingly nice experience and it really changed my perspective on it. Sometimes It’s not all about specs. Just listing why I’m excited about this board, sorry if that offended you.
@evtechsteven if you're stoked about it, fine. it's just very unfair to the hate on the work other companies put in their boards only for you to negatively criticize it, yet give praise to other companies that do the exact same thing. All I'm saying is if you're gonna give your two cents about a board, then be consistent about it
@@ESK8_BRO_TX yeah... 12S on a boutique board is ,with all due respect, stupid. the point about boutique board is to go nuts, go much higher than factory boards can mass produce. Yet they made a factory board at boutique prices. I'm lamenting a wasted opportunity... not because 12S is inherently bad for all boards. And Acedeck N3 is a great board. But, seriously, Acedeck last year tried to convince me to use my small garage as their US repair center and asked me to buy my own soldering tools to help them repair customers boards, I have zero experience in soldering and zero experience in repairing electrical components. All I can think about is how the boards I repair would catch fires after I send them back to customers who thought they had it professionally warrantied/repaired. And I declined that offer to be their repair center. There's reason why China boards are cheap. Factory workers are paid next to nothing and warranties are skimped on and what little repairs are done dangerously. All this skimping allow them to sell cheaper...which in turn make Evolve look unreasonably expensive. And in turn, hated. Acedeck does make good boards, but like all China boards, they reduce overhead cost where they shouldn't to make their prices seem good.
@evtechsteven what some people dont realize is that even though a 12s is a smaller number than a 14s or 16s, is that using a vesc esc utilizes the voltage to its maximum potential. Especially with p42a molicels ramp time, amperage, throttle curve, and current can be set to run better than and out perform 12s, even a 14s, hobbywing and lingyi escs that only let u adjust throttle curve on an app. Prime example, Morgan brady, esk8 racing champion on a stooge board. His race board runs 8s batteries. Which if ppl followed the misconception, more #S, more power! Then he wouldn't be one of the fastest esk8ers alive. Its how you use that energy in what manner. Which you just stated you have zero experience in repairing boards and their electrical components. Which respectfully would also be safe to assume u have zero experience in programming boards and understanding the way vescs and other escs run. This is why ppl need to take the time to understand the versatility of a vesc which is why boutique boards went the vesc route to begin with. Not to mention the failure rates of boutique boards are way less than china boards. Thats quality. Ok, ya thats messed up of acedeck to do that to u but the discussion we're talking about board price and what u get out of it. $1900 to $2000, 14s6p vs 12s4p You do realize evolve boards are made in china as well right...?
I have a dedicated plywood box in my 4wd for my Evolve Hadean, so when my Diablo turns up it won’t fit being an inch wider. Would I be able to swap out just the top bar from my Hadean trucks and retain the upgraded lower part of the trucks?
I really dont see any reason for the carbon deck since the new bamboo deck is stable at speed. And youll actually be more stable on the bamboo at speed going over bumps because theyll be soaked up. The bamboo has a steeper dropdown and looks sexy as hell. Bamboo baby.
They don’t start shipping here until late august! We already have a shitty summer in the uk, so by the end of august it’ll probably be pissing it down everyday. Edit: just purchased an almost new Hadean bamboo AT on eBay Looks like it’s had 10 mins use max, The Y tool never been used, non of the wheel or truck nuts even touched once! £800 is that any good? I reckon it’s decent as a new one is £1400 Now I can enjoy summer 😎😉

I spent $2,100 on a carbon gt back in 2018 and the board was great...until the cheep remote broke...evolve sent me the brand new R1 remote which worked for a total of 2 days before...it never worked again...now I have a $2,100 paper weight because evolve felt they did their part by sending me the R1 remote...that never really worked...in short I will never buy another evolve board...I have purchased a acedeck NYX Z3 and am currently waiting for it to ship...I'm sure the new evolve boards are great but 2000 is a lot for a board and I feel evolve should have at least sent me a new remote...that actually works...for that kind of money....
