Loved majorca when I was there last time but unfortunately wouldn't go because of the drinks rule in some the all-inclusive hotels but thanks for sharing Kevin hope you had a safe journey home ❤❤
Cala Bona is lovely Santa Ponsa love it been going there for about 37 years I like going to the Spanish bars more traditional Palma Nova is really nice x😊
I wouldn't say Cala Bona is for 60 + Kevin. I'm here just now and it's teeming with English and German families. (We won't hold that against the place) 😂😂 There's loads to do for the wee ones. Cala Ratjada is definitely the resort for me. Wish I'd gone back there this year. Lesson learned.
Damn, the second half of the Majorca saga went fast. Never been but Palma Nova would probably be the one I stay in. Honestly the issue for me wanting to go to Majorca is finding stuff to do during the day, since I'm not the biggest beach person ever (I like the scenery but hate lying down on it doing nothing). Looking forward to seeing what the next place is (any clue on what it is?)!
It´s true that there isn´t a lot to do there apart from beaches, site-seeing, and just appreciating the weather and views. There are some nice restaurants etc., but there is little consistency in standards between different hotels of the same class and different restaurants in the same area or of the same type. Palmanova would also be my pick. It´s generally calm and relaxed and there are people of all ages. Nice large and clean beach. Not an exciting place, but a calm and relaxed place. Good for picnics at the beach under the pine trees or going to some of the cafes and restaurants. A few nice shops, though not many.
@@ScotsmaninTenerife Hi Kevin. Messaged you a few weeks ago before went to Las Americas cheers for all your info beforehand. Loved our holiday. We were never away from the strip of bars, Brams, Hole in wall etc. Alot better than veronicas (never again)😂There the best ones. Very friendly atmosphere. We stayed in Ole Tropical the hotel u have seen. The food in this hotel was top notch kevin id urge u to go. One of the best we have been too for 4 stars and prices very good. Was over 30 most days at the end of june there, we just got home, Getting off at prestwick airport. Thanks again buddy, we love watching your content 👍
Allo kev, hope you are well ,yer right kid palma nove really loverly ,fantastic beaches ,loads of bars restaurants , locals are friendly, nice one kev 😂👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🏴
Just back a week from Alcudia, staying in The Astoria Playa. An excellent hotel for adults only, can't fault it one bit. You're right Kevin in saying that Alcudia is a great place for families. A huge beach that has a shallow shelve to the sea for the kids to play in safely. Didn't see any trouble or folk who had enjoyed themselves too much with the old falling down water. The road works on the main drag was a bit of a hassle but aren't they all. Yep, those with kids should consider Alcudia for a holiday. See you on the next adventure mate, take care. 😎👍
I agree with you Kev, McTavish's is definitely the best bar in Santa Ponsa it's so friendly and great entertainment. Next best for me is the Jaggy Thistle 🏴👍
Loved your Majorca content. I was hoping to see more of Cala Bona however. I thought you were going to finish the walk into there. Looking forward to seeing your next trip. 👍👍
Hope you get back to the island next year Kevin, there’s so many more resorts to check out. Puerto Pollensa, Cala D’or and Cala Ratjada being three lovely ones.
just back from magaluf today.stayed in the cooks club (used to be honolulu),the hotel is really amazing.. no children...if you have walking or heart problems the walk up to it could kill you its so steep..right next door is the ...vistasol..full of young ones the noise from there is unbelievable, shouting and screaming on the balconies.. very loud music..really bad..its.very close to the strip..but the cooks is really brilliant hotel cracking pool restarant sun beds and small pool if you want a wee bit privacy...,security is excellent ...apart from the steep hill and noise from vistasol its first class

Go away back to Wherever. This place is pure Gold. we know a huge amount of locals as we've been coming here for over 20 years and have seen children born families grow and the place become a paradise for us, our international and local close friends. thank you.
@@ScotsmaninTenerife Too many sadly. I do have a lot of family in Scotland and quite frankly, You should alter the title of your videos. we have travelled Many of the Spanish areas, and you NEED to alter the titles. this place is greatly better than your titles.
This series of videos in majorca was great Kevin ,stayed in good few of them and your view of santa ponsa is great but you afraid to say it for real, it's basically an Irish resort in the sun with alot of fenian music so I understand your reasons not going to some bars and as an Irish person I avoid all them too hate that music genre but love santa ponsa ,look forward to where you might go next in July
There is no doubt that Mallorca has a lot of natural beauty, but it´s way overpriced for what you get and often standards are not met for what you pay. Also experienced a lot of rudeness, disrespect, lack of customer service and lack of professionalism compared to most other places I´ve visited in the world.
Kevin we were asked by a bunch of young scuds why we were on Magaluf strip at our age 😮, I asked how old are you? , answered 19, I replied, we have been coming here for nearly double your time in the planet, it's our place not yours 😂 Truthfully we have no problems with them being there , signed David aged 64 😅
