If you need help negotiating with buyers to help you make more money with each order, check out my negotiation tutorial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l-p4eiR1fNs.html
If you are a legitimate writer with solid skills and talent, you won't need to negotiate :) Focus all your energy on mastering writing. Copywriting is a specific skill that I guarantee you can't do without training. Content writing, however, is possible, but I wouldn't hire anyone for less than 12 cents per word or you will get garbage. If you can make it work to get money, great, as long as you are providing real value and don't oversell your skills and abilities. Once you develop real writing skills, you won't pick up clients on Fiverr because it won't be worth your time for low paying gigs. You should be making at least 10 cents per word and it should take you an hour to write 750-word articles, fully researched. But there is a market for amateur writers... on Fiverr... but if you are passionate about writing, Fiverr will only be a starting block. Once you get good, you'll realize you're underpaid for what content writing really entails.
This is by far the best descriptions as to how to get started in copywriting specifically with no experience! I love that you have no music, no distractions, clear and straight to the point! Thank you!
For me, the scariest part of starting an online business is just making that first step. It seems like such a daunting task and an impossible dream to be self-employed, but you've made a very educational video and have inspired me to start putting the work in. Thanks, Mike.
I love how you went straight into it, without any sidetracks, and still kept it simple, but informational. I found this video not only very helpful, when it comes to becoming a copywriter on fiverr, but also very motivating and uplifting (making me feel like "YES, I can do it, too"). Thank you for your content Mike :)
Mike, for me you are a Rabbi over this topic, i hardly get such a sound, precise, honest guides. You have a great mastery of the fiverr, I enjoy digesting all your disgestible, organic and healthy content all of the time.
I've found this video to be very informative with NO FLUFF. You've laid out a clear easy plan for us all to follow and hopefully earn another source of income. I've liked and subscribed! Thank you for sharing.
Great info! I am a decent writer and had attempted to start a copywriting side gig writing white papers a few years ago, and failed. Nice to know I can pick this up again with Fiverr as a platform. Thanks so much for your informative and DETAILED videos! I have a tech job that affords me lots of free time so I'm going to get myself set up on this TONIGHT!
i have been binge watching your videos for the past hour or two now and I must say...you are really transparent and honest and that's why i trust your advice. I will try my very best in implementing these steps because my gigs on fiverr are just so dormant. The gig with the highest impression which is 65 has only one click and that is really sad, considering that i am almost a year old on fiverr and not one sale. Thanks again for this video and I hope to get better results that gives me confidence to continue on fiverr because being on a platform without a sale is discouraging.
New to online writing, but not new to writing. I really appreciate your organized thinking & willingness to share the truths about what it takes to be a successful copy/content writer. Thanks for providing such tactful methodology Mike! Smiles, Leela
Thank you for sharing this. I found my summer project 😁 I’ve been copywriting for a year now I tried fiverr in the past but I got too overwhelmed managing learning how to write and university. Now that I’ve graduated I’m all in this magic internet money game
What a wondergul journey! To start from scratch is both hideous and outstanding. I can't wait implementing those tips. Thanks for being so considerate.
That's an awesome comment, thank you! If you liked this video, you should check out the recent copywriting course I released a few weeks ago 37 minutes and I think you'd find it helpful ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pum2gV7N_9A.html
Thanks for the video! I'm feeling super stoked about the possibility of becoming a freelance copywriter because I'm already a writer for the passion of it and it's a skill I've nurtured since I was a child. I'm extremely confident with my writing, but now I'm learning how to apply those skills to copywriting The way I'm going into this makes me feel like I have a chance at success. I already got a massive portion of the steps covered since I actively engage in writing and reading in my spare time because I love it.
@@floralscraft Hello there! At this point I’m thinking of finishing a degree I put on hold in English. It doesn’t work toward copywriting directly, but it’ll help get a position in a company to gain some experience in copy. I’m going slowly toward my goals and am trying to find my way so unfortunately I have little to offer as far as advice. Good luck!
@@abz4852 they probably think that because they’d rather play the victim their whole life instead of taking steps to better themselves. Just my guess. Hail 🦞
Thank you for your video, and making it available without a fee. I'm being forced to retire from my manufacturing job, and am exploring options. For many years, I've wanted to branch out on my own, have kept my technical skills up to date, but haven't taken that first big step. I guess I have to face that "wall" soon, because I will want to eat at some point. 🤣 I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks again.
WOW! Thank you for sharing your experiences and enlightening beginners like me who's not sure where or how to start. Very clear and concise. I look forward to learning more from your videos. Keep it up!!!
You are so welcome! I've actually put out a longer copywriting course that you might also find interesting, should check it out if you have the time. Good luck my friend :)
I've been wanting to break into this industry for so long and never knew how to. I've been writing since I was 17,and I dare say this tutorial is definitely going to help me so much to build up the nerve to do it! Starting my process today! 🤯
@@Yeoldyperson it's going slowly, ground to a hault with lack of internet and a family tragedy not long ago, but I'm back at it. Just struggling to find work at the moment and I'm hoping I can get good enough to go into copywriting full time
Check this one out, course I made recently had a bunch of practice exercises to help you learn ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pum2gV7N_9A.html
Thank you for this video! It’s comprehensive which is good for someone like me who’s a beginner with a lot of anxiety and straight to the point which kept me really engaged.
Thank you! I've been copywriting for years for different mediums and projects in my day job as a digital marketing - never thought of ever doing this until now. Liked and subscribed!
My question is, can you work on Fiverr choosing your own hours as want friday afternoon and all Saturday off for the Jewish Shabbat. Happy to work the other six days .
Fiverr is a platform where people are hired on a per project basis. Every project has a timeline from the time the order starts to when it needs to be delivered without being considered late. It’s up to the seller to complete the project within that timeline, when they work is up to them
I have a background in copywriting and couldn't figure out a way to find a part time copywriting job. Forgot about Fiverr. Thank you for the reminder and the tips :)
Hello Mike, its been a month now that I've read about copywriting and honestly it kind of got me excited. The tips that you are mentioning in the video are trully helpful. To be honest I've never done this kind of job and I expect very difficult ways to achive of being copywriter. As you saw I already subscribed to your channel an I wish you the best.
Hi, this is a good summary of selling the service. It would be good to see an example of your product, a typical order (how long is that email, 2000 words sounds very long, no one will read that;) and some other very specific info on keeping your clients happy and getting reorders. Writing as you say, isn't easy and you did not speak about this at all. Where did you get your ideas from, did you have difficult clients that tell you what they don't want but not very clearly what they do want, etc.
Great point, and perfect timing! I’m in the process of creating more in depth videos covering a lot of what you mentioned. Here’s one I put out last week, it’s a practical tutorial to get peoples writing muscles working, will work on more videos covering the other stuff you mentioned in the near future. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pum2gV7N_9A.html
@@MikeNardiTV I watched this video and it was very specific to copywriting. The exercises were doable and provided good practice. The idea of using all the junk mail you receive every day was practice material was great. Thanks.
I was like looking for an online job and this video recommendation from youtube caught my attention. I am a pretty decent writer and this gives me like a headstart of what should I be doing now. Thank you for this and I hope I can start someday on Fiverr.
I have a sales background…I’ve been told that I can write…I’ve done an online copywriting course…I have studied NLP. Figuring out a Niche is what I need to do next. Oh…and I read a lot. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you Mike😃, you really help me so much with this video, I will start implementing these tips today, abd by next week I will post my first gig on Fiver. I'm so exhited for doing that, Jesus bless you 🙏
i was interested in copywriting so badly from the start of 2021 bur never researched anything about it.... but now my family is in some financial problem and i have to do it now and mny many thanks to you i think i can be the man in charge of the family now by creating some crazy income 😉
This was a very good video. I picked a lot of useful information, and I appreciate the clarity with which you communicated it. I also really like your bookshelf.
You have no idea how useful this video was for a complete beginner like me. Thank you so much for the effort you put in your videos to help us! Quick question- In the beginning, would it be a disadvantage for me to publish 4-5 gigs at once while starting out as opposed to publishing one gig and seeing how it performs for 2 months as you suggested?
thanks for creating a video that's actually informative! so often, these 'make money by doing ____ at home' tutorials just repeat the same basic information for fifteen minutes while promoting their book or anything else you have to pay for access to in order to get info that's actually useful. just one big marketing scam. there is some great info and tips here and I'll definitely be checking out your other videos!
Quite elucidating, this video has definitely cleared most of the questions I had about copywriting and has moved me a step closer to my journey. I still wish I can get in touch with someone who has experience about this and the time to mentor me
Stumbled upon your video. I made a fiverr account when I didn’t even know what copywriting was. Didn’t have a portfolio or any sample work. Now, I’m a full time creative and medical copywriter, and thinking I should at least update my fiverr profile so people know I’m legit.
@@MikeNardiTV oh gosh...I didn't expect your reply... thanks. I am interested in copywriting for so long but didn't actually have an idea. Now I know where to start... thanks to you..... start researching from tonight. I will be back to your channel for sure.
Hey Mike! I am a student. I love and enjoy writing so i decided to start out as a copywriter. This tutorial is really helpful for beginners like me but i still don't understand how to get your first clients when you have no experience at all. Can you please help me with it or make another tutorial on how to attract clients, it will be so helpful.
Step 1 is to write A LOT. Practice writing a variety of different types of copy, eventually you’ll get good enough that some of your copy can be used as part of your portfolio and away you go
Thank you so much for this video. I found you several days ago on your video where you challenge your audience to write for 20 minutes for 30 days. I am on my 3rd day and I also read 30 minutes during my early morning hours. Found an interesting article on persuasive writing. Integrating it as a part of my copywriting training. I decided to stick with you because your tips and videos are very clear and precise. How long should you train yourself or does it depend on what level you are beginning? Again, thank you.
It really depends on you, how much time you commit to practice, and how you feel your abilities are progressing. Everyone’s different, but it sounds like you just started a daily writing habit which is an excellent first step :)
