I started fiverr about 2 months ago, after about a month (28 days to be exact) i got my first sale and ever since then i get sales every other day i easily make 100 a week. Im honestly so happy and great-full for this opportunity because about 2-3 months ago i was just a broke student who couldn't afford anything, not even a laptop for studies and now i dont have to worry about money. I just wanted to share my story to motivate others because i know you can do it! ❤️
That’s awesome! Even small progress is progress. I can still remember my first sale... almost eight years ago now. Such a great feeling You can do it! Keep up the hard work.
I see so I have to be proactive to get customers also not to procrastinate and do the work is a crucial skill to learn. It's gonna come up but have a plan to overcome them.
thank you so much for this video! im a 17 yr old student and have been thinking abt freelancing in fiverr as a side job, i really love the realistic tips :) hopefully ill be successful on this journey❤️
@@nanaji8587 hey there! unfortunately i didnt continue my plan to freelance in fiverr since i was too busy with my studies at that time. on a positive note, i am currently handling my small business on bags and i have been earning well! thanks for checking in :)
I made my first gig like 2 years ago. I got like 6 orders with 4-5 ratings in like 2 weeks which is pretty exciting. But then school year (Grade 7) came in and I paused my gig to avoid ruining my ratings or response time. Because I was too focused on my school work I forgot to activate my gig in like the next 2 years (2019-2021) I recently opened my gig and waited like 2 months and yet no one is ordering, is it because I paused it for too long? If that's the case how do I get my gig on the track again?
I can relate! I started selling a year ago, but all throughout, I got cancelled orders, ridiculous requests, and me being ghosted by a buyer after not being satisfied with my work! I nearly lost hope, until just recently, someone availed my service. I'd like to point out here that it can take YEARS before you get a decent order.
It can take time, but I'd be curious to know what your processes looked like for all those cancelled orders/negative experiences. I find that it's possible to mitigate bad experiences by running proper discovery before taking on a project, and also setting expectations/boundaries with clients before engaging in a project together.
Finally, a video that makes sense! There should be more videos like this, than well-paid sellers hyping up other people that fiverr is easier than a 9-5 job!
thank you so much bro. unlike hearing from any of my friends, I've finally heard what truly fiverr is. most people just told me "bro just create a gig and you won't even have the time to scratch your hair" I was starting to take fiverr so lightly without any challenges in my mind. now that I've heard this, I'm prepared for any kind of hardships fiverr's gonna throw at me. thanks again bro
After 2 years I got on level 2 and still my earning is below $2000. And trust me clients are so hard they think that paying $5 is as if they are paying a million. Unfortunately there are few people who have currency value low and they’ve messed up the whole market recently.
This is an issue people face when trying to sell things in any industry. The trick is to figure out how to focus on the value a service can provide vs just the cost.
@@MikeNardiTV true but don’t you agree that clients just become greedy and move towards people who provide cheaper services. Although I’m lucky to score few long term clients. But now I’m trying to change lanes but every industry seems to be saturated
@@sofiatariq9612 Clients are always going to want the best deal. What separates the best sellers from everyone else is their ability to show the client that their services ARE the best deal based on value not price.
I just need some advice because I've had a fiverr since 2020. I do art commissions of original characters and fanart or concept art. But i have NEVER had even one buyer. I post on social media, i have pictures of my work. I don't think it's bc my qrt is just bad, i mean i took art classes in both highschool and college 😅 i just don't understand why I haven't ever got even ONE buyer. Not one! What am i doing wrong? It's like no one even SEES my profile on there.
Your art is probably really good, the problem likely isn’t the art, the problem is probably the fact that not many people turn to Fiverr to buy the type of artwork you’re selling.
This has been really helpful! I have a question about the revisions: What if the revision the client asks for is objectively bad? I'm concerned about someone seeing the final product that's not good and finding out it's mine. Is it worth more to have a reputation for good work, or for being easy to work with?
Great video, been on photoshop and illustrator as a hobby for while now, was told about fiverr but never knew how it went down. Very informative. Godless.
I hope I am not late on this journey..I just found out about fiverr and has a graduate with out job from Africa I want to give it a try and I am ready to put in my all 🙏🙏🙏
hi Mike i'm a newbie on fiverr, i just got 2 orders, they gave 5 and 4 stars, but one of them said that i'm not professional enough, will it affect my gigs in future? Thanks hope you answer it
@@MikeNardiTV on it. But i have questions about the w9 form. I am a dependent, should I still complete this? Will it affect anything? Not sure if you live in USA
Hi, my order just got cancelled mutually because the buyer was not ready to make me his channel editor for me to Do SEO, Is there is way to remove cancel an order from my profile by contacting CS?
I Just Need To Learn Where To Make Really Good Twitch Logos And Sell Them I Don't Wanna Make Them On Logo Maker Apps And Stuff Because Everyone Can Use Those
i am an artist. my friend recommend this to me after seeing my art works. honestly i'm nervese. it's my last three months at school and i dont have enough money to afford to my private degree. i wanna try this but i need a guide..this one helped me and wish others also get success through this :) note: if this thing didn't work on you, don't give up on your dreams- there many other platforms you can try and it all depends on your commitment
Now that Ive decided to put my finances and career into my OWN hands instead of selling it away to the schmucks of the world for minimum wage, Im studying, and I'm liking and commenting all of your videos Im watching, thanks, Chief!
Hi Mike, greetings from an American expatriate in Taipei, Taiwan. Great channel! Hey, a quick question for you: I’m a fairly good writer (I’ve taught writing, etc.), but I’m just getting started at learning copywriting. Do you have any tips for how to get up to speed to write copy for Fiverr! purposes and to the platform’s standards? Do you have a video? Can you suggest some links for self-study? Maybe a nice Udemy course, etc.? Thanks!-PS: Are you Canadian?
Hi friend! Happy you like the channel!! Here’s a high level tutorial I did to help out with new copywriters (there are links to some courses to get you started with practicing your craft too). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jGc2HRyOpew.html Yes I’m Canadian! :)
Great video. I got 2 requests asking me to be a virtual assistant for 3 weeks. How do you handle payments with long term gigs? Are we supposed to get paid FIRST before we do work? I'm not sure how to approach this. Help
I'm not a tax expert, the best option would be for you to talk to a local tax specialist/accountant local to you to discuss tax implications of selling on fiverr.
Can anybody explain. Or send me a link to show how does payments to my coaching on Fiverr order work please? I had an oder showing, then it showed me a QR code to scan, which then asked me for my banking details, which I could not understand as Fiverr has my details? Is this normal? I am brand new to Fiverr
These were very helpful tips sir! I got a queastin: after i start working on fivver while i have the time i would have a good reputation, but what if i dont have time deliver or response to the order? Is there any way i could pause my gigs with?
You can ask the buyer to extend the order timeline, but ideally you want to make sure you’re setting your order timelines so they are long enough to give you time to complete. Incomplete or late orders will hurt your stats.
I just started fiverr, and I would like to thank you sir for your advices, You honestly deserve way more viewers and subscribers. You rock Mike 💪🏻 huge respect from Algeria 🇩🇿
Hi Mike , thank you so much for looking out for us newbies. I recently completed my first order but it's not showing up along with my other gig images. The buyer left me a good review, but I can't see his review along with what I delivered. I have noticed that sellers have their buyer reviews next to their completed gigs. Am I missing something?
Hello my friend! I’m a close up magician and have been for 14+ years I was wondering if I could sell magic on fiverr, tutorials for magic tricks. Is this possible ?
You probably can, but if I’m being honest I don’t know if there’s much of a market for magic tricks on a freelance platform. But that being said it doesn’t hurt to try
How does fiverr offer protection from people stealing your work? Could people just make a few edits to the content you have written for them, without paying you?
when an order is placed Fiverr holds the funds, when the order is delivered the funds are released to the seller. Once you complete a copywriting project for a client it’s largely up to them what they do with the completed work
I got a question! Can I still selling or providing services from Colombia? I am asking this because I saw that Etsy doesn´t allow to receive payments for sellers who are located in my country which is Colombia. Thanks for your answering!
I’m not aware of any Fiverr restrictions on Columbia. But I’m sure if you read their terms of service there will be a section about where Fiverr services are available
I have no job, been looking for months:(( applying all over the canada and still no reply:((... thinking of doing so many things to earn some money but always ended up applying jobs or studying related to my computer programming or just other house chores:((((
I’ve had client before from people seeing my own youtube channel work and previous clients work. I love video edited it’s like a puzzle. There such thing as easy hard work :)
Just how how to start work, you keep talking and talking. People like practically watch things to learn, I really doesn't like your lacture... Must show in computer how to start work on this application. Thanks
@@MikeNardiTV Can you do a video on SEO writing and like the easiest gigs on Fiverr to get into. Since everyone is complaining how oversaturated Fiverr is
@@redsangay My answer to people complaining about fiverr being “over saturated” is to figure out where you can offer value instead of looking for the easy path to making money. The easy path will always be saturated, the path where you are offering value to your clients is the path that will rarely feel like it’s over saturated.
@@MikeNardiTV Can you give some examples and dive deeper. Like a sub niche for video editing would be RU-vid video editing. A sub-niche for audio editing could be podcast-editing. A sub-niche for copywriting could be targeted blog-writing . I'm trying to find a bunch of sub-niches in various categories throughout many services. If you did a vid or gave me more sub-niche ideas, I'd highly appreciate it. Thanks Mike
Im trying to make money online but I have no idea what I could even offer to people. I am good at hands of stuff-not much help to people through a computer so what do I do? Please help
Hard for me to say without knowing you, but what I will say is I've made a bunch of videos that talk about different skills and fiverr gigs on this channel. You should check them out!
can i do drop servicing here? Like i'll offer a service of making websites and all and when i will get my client i'll take that work and hire someone else and cut margin for myself. Will this work? if not then what would be the complications?
The complications are if you don’t know much about building websites there will be a gap in communication and understanding of deliverables between you and the person actually doing the work
As an electrical and software engineer, is fiverr a good platform for trying getting freelancing work? I am trying to explore how to make a living, just lost my job and I really need to figure out things quickly here. Thanks 🙏
How important is it with a real photo of yourself in the profile? Most of people seems to use a real photo, but i have also seen logos and stuff like that. Second question, is it allowed to use a stock image or ai generated photo as profile picture, or must it be myself on the picture?
Hi, I want someone to make me a song for a video. How does it work if I make a Fiver request? Do I have to pay everybody that comes up with a song? Or can I freely choose from for instance 5 submissions??
I see my comment I think it was already deleted. But it doesn’t matter cause I’m gonna keep doing it and I’m gonna keep doing my videos. I got a message back saying that you if you work for fiverr you’re not there employee so they have no teeth and you. So if you screw up and you don’t care and you’re a bully you can do whatever you want if they’re basically I just had $200 plus taken out of my account and it was granted back to me that I won the case against fiverr. And now they’re saying oh no we’re gonna take your money and put it in some account but we can’t help you we can help you with the man is chasing your website and driving your SEO down you’re gonna have to change your credentials whatever the hell that means. It is an absolute nightmare absolute nightmare
I don’t fully understand what’s going on in your situation but sounds kind of confusing to me. The only thing I can comment on is the first part where you said you’re not a Fiverr employee. That’s correct, I believe it’s similar to being a contractor, not protected by the same rights an employee would have from an employer. But I guess that’s kind of the nature of using a third party platform like Fiverr to drive traffic to your business
Mike, thank you very much, I am a point now where I would rather be doing working from home, the challenges at the work place and no sense of commitment or job stability, I have decided to do something different, so I will check in every now and then but the advice you gave is exactly what I expected, I know it will be hard but lets see if I can commit. Thank You.
Thank you for this video! I have actually a question. I just started on Fiverr and I have surprisingly received a lot of requests in only few hours, but all of them require me to get the infos from Telegram. I know that a lot of people use this app but I wonder if it is counterproductive for me, as I won't have any evidence on the platform that I got the job. What do you suggest?
Anytime a prospect on fiverr asks me to switch to telegram or whatsapp, I immediately assume it's a scam and try to get them to communicate with me via the fiverr platform.
1. Git Gud 2. Share your profile on socials 3. "Can't please all the people all the time." 4. Stay productive 5. Don't take on more orders than you can handle
Can you do a video on fully starting a Fiverr account? Not just talking abt different gigs but more so on the tax form you have to fill out before starting selling? Should we get an EIN? currently, I’m an aspiring portrait photographer, Etsy seller, and now hoping to do Fiverr (and RU-vid in the future). For people with several businesses, do we need multiple ein numbers?
Hi Mike, I have one year in fiverr but I have only managed to do 4 jobs on the platform. I have felt a little frustrated because I don't know exactly how to modify the gigs to position them better. I tried everything you explained, but when one of the gigs is doing "well", suddenly the impressions fall back. The clicks too, and they are usually few :(
Hmm I’d be interested to know more about the types of services you’re offering. Take a look at the playlist below if you haven’t already, and send me an email with your fiverr profile info. I’ll review it and post it as a video on this channel if that would be helpful. (Please don’t link to your profile in the comments). ru-vid.com/group/PL7os4pDGawzZuw4xPCO8-Z4bdByL9FnbF
@@MikeNardiTV Hi Mike, Thanks for your response. Well, the service that I offer is about illustrations, background illustration for children books and so on. I will send to you my profile!
This is pretty common Glenda as the algorithms change a lot on Fiverr. Still, there are some tried and true tactics you can stick to what will help you restore your gig traffic. It’s hard work and you need to do it consistently, but keep it up and you’ll turn things around 😊👍
I'm just happy how you truly said that a skill that would fit someone should be learned first.. it's just real tips.. everything can be learnt..salamat!!( it's thank you in the Philippines)😊
