So I created this completely free step-by-step guide on the rain sounds side hustle to show you guys an amazing method to make money online in 2021 with RU-vid. A tip to make it sound like not a complete loop having two or more sounds with different length. Ex. Rain sound 1 min, Bamboo water sound every 13 secs, So it'll be less likely to have the same sound playing every minute.

The most important factor in starting a RU-vid channel in my opinion is finding subject matter that you are PASSIONATE about sharing (remember you're in this for the long haul). Not always! A lot of it is finding your audience first, and then making what they want and filling that need instead of other way around. Not everyone cares about what you like and you have to do what to do what is to make the real money. Few people have made it by reinventing the wheel.

Some channels with new-ish (under a few months or so) still get tons of views. What's the rhyme or reason behind that? Incredible marketing? Algorithm? Well, I thought I might get into that too, but I've talked to several people now who tried it, made it to 1k subscribers and 4k watch hours just to be denied monetisation! So all those fantastic numbers don't help much anymore. RU-vid is coming down hard on those videos. Shame! 🤷🏽‍♂️🙄

50% luck 50% consistency Almost every successful RU-vidr I watch, always bring up the fact that they just got lucky. You can plan, market, network your brand but its entirely up to timing and what people are going to gravitate to. Not sure if you know this but RU-vid will not monetize reused content.. Let me explain. How many people download videos or images from pexels? Millions.. So thousands or even millions of people could be downloading the same videos and music etc and using it to create meditation videos etc.. If 2 or more content creators use the same videos, pictures or music in their videos then that is known as reused content.. RU-vid will not monetize those videos.

Good luck being found doing this. If you do a white noise or rainstorm for sleeping search you’ll NEVER find your channel because these other guys already beat everyone to the punch. The reason these channels make millions is because they thought of them FIRST!

To copy and paste a 2 minute video or audio clip to fill out 8 or 10 hours is no easy task. That's a LOT of repetitions. Plus, they sometimes glitch at the loop point, meaning you might have to crossfade them. Not to mention, you'll want some titling at the beginning and end of your video. More editing. If you've done video editing in the past, this isn't that daunting, but if you have no experience at all, there's going to be some learning curve to climb.

@@JakeTilk You need motion video to get in the YPP with these kind of sounds is my understanding. Typically people also make a video showing themselves making the videos. This has been reported by many of the big noise channels that got demonetized in ~2018. My channel (~4k subscribers) with all original rain and fan recordings was rejected.

I just did a Grabovoi code activation for “unexpected money” and then your video popped up from nowhere on my feed. I love this rain idea, it would fit in well too for my clients: maybe if I added a meditation and activation thing with it, we’ll see! I've been doing all the job applications i can, been looking for any work possible, been trying to sell some of my things just to get by. My fiance and myself do lawn care for work and lately things have been really rough. We've been trying to get our water back on,it got shut off last week. I'm sure things will get better, just hope it speeds up!! I live in Richmond Indiana,not much going on around here!! I need to make some videos of me singing or taking about life lessons and what Not to do!! I've had much experience in Many situations!!

@@typicalt69 Another fun exercise is to look at people predicting Bitcoin or political stuff. (Though, of course, in Jake's case, he knows he's lying while he's making these videos, versus people who are trying to predict the future)

There are o many rain and white noise channels out there possibly tens of thousands. It's very saturated. Most channels have only a couple hundred subs after a full year of uploads.

some people just don't care, they put midrolls, people still watch. A few years ago, it was a "hidden law" that u can't put midrolls in ASMR videos, but now, many ASMRtists just put them and people still watch/listen to ASMR

I appreciate the video jake, very informative. But I can't seem to find how to get/make a digital background that moves with snow falling, a lighted fire pit in a wooden cabin log. These channels get a lot of views like rainy guy. Hopefully you make a more in-depth video, or hopefully I find a video on it. Thanks again love ur videos!!

@@JakeTilk Checked out your update video. I still have the same issue which is that I can't seem to find a software that makes realistic movements, like water dripping from a windshield or a kitty turning it's head towards the camera.
