This video demonstrates how to do a cast on version of a make 1 right increase (M1R). It is a great increase to use when you want to maintain a very even tension in your knitting, and working a traditional make 1 increase (where you pick up the strand of yarn between your just and next-to-be-worked stitches) would tighten your fabric. The decrease is directional, meaning it appears to lean to the right of your work.
