Redeemer of souls, judas priest album was their first album with a wet guitar sound. Love that album although many fans don't. Always remember that your speakers are the most important for your guitar sound
hi ' can u please make a video explain and show the connection u use from the gt1000 to a mixer/audio inerface and from where to connect to the monitors do u use the usb /xlr/pl ? and how to get the best proper sound for recording / live stream or just to practice at home ( i know its basics but not everyone know this ) :-)
Good explanation and demo. I think you are the only one to have given this much insight on wet/dry/wet. Thanks for answering my question on your previous video. Cheers!!
Thank you for your videos and showing this wet dry wet setup. I Have used this and have modified it a bit and have come up with a Huge big EVH type sound that Ive been searching for since just about forever/since I heard the tone EVH has on the Balance Album, Cheers :) I am so glad I found this :)
Video Suggestion: using the two mono FX loops in series and parellel on dual mono signals and stereo channels... For example, your favorite mono reverbs in the FX loops...
Great video as usual I think your explanations are just perfect 😊🔝 The only thing I'm not sure about it is...why a wet dry wet configuration is better using the GT-1000? In the analog world this make a lot of sense because you want to preserve your "pure" dry signal from all the A/D convertions coming from digital effects... But here we are already 100% in the digital domain, do you think that a wet dry wet signal flow could improve the tone quality? I'm just asking, I don't know if we could have benefits or not... Thank you so much, you rock 😎🤟
Fair point. I’ve found the more I play with things, I do think a little more along your train of thought here. I do feel like there is more separation having things ‘wet/dry…whatever’. I may be over complicating it, and making myself believe that, but it seems to be what I’m hearing/feeling. The main reason I seperate things now though is if I want delays seperate from my reverb. For example.
Not spefically applicable to your patch, but if you put two delays in series within the divider (direct level zero), the delay times are affected weirdly.
