Jenny I could not stop laughing at the new MSQC word of the day...Scrabric! That made my night and I'm totally going to use that word now! Such adorable birds!
"as long as your bird has a beak, 'cause he needs to sing" 🎵🐦😍 There are so many options with this block, thank you for sharing! And thank you to Block Lotto for the original pattern! So glad you got to do a tutorial on this, added to my library for later
I LOVE this! I think it would make a great temperature quilt. I’d make 1 bird to represent a week-the body and wing represent the avg high/avg low temp OR the highest/lowest temp for the week. Thank you, Jenny, for your wonderful tutorials-and ALL you do! Stay well!💜 Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
I love this. I think I'd like to make some bird blocks and some birdhouse blocks. A whole neighborhood. These birds remind me of the sandpipers that run on the beaches in Florida.
Oh my goodness, what a darling spring pattern. So very addictive and adaptable to your personal style. I could vision this as a border over a kitchen window that changes seasonally. Thanks Ginny and the MSQ Crew for bringing this block to us.
I am going to try making a nest for them, instead of legs. Just guessing here, about a 7 x 3 brown rectangle snowballed on each end with a 3 inch square. I can't wait to try this!
So darn cute. I have challenged myself to not buy anymore fabric untill I have used up my scraps. So this is perfect. Birds and houses together would be awesome quilt
This is absolutely adorable. Love these birds. There are so many possibilities of bird projects to make. I love it. Thank you, Jenny. And feel better very soon. 😍❤️🪡🧵
I LOVE quilt blocks that contain a consistent element and a dynamic element. All the movement of the legs is so grounded by the birds, it's really lovely
I love these little birds they are so cute. I think I have to sew some, even because we love to watch the many birds in our garden and feed them all over the year, specially in the Winter. The birds must look great with a background with green leaves, too, and some berries mixed in between. Thank you Jenny to share this pattern with us. Many greetings
What a perfect pattern...and your happiness about the bird! I love the way you show us your patchwork. I made a quilt from the house pattern, now I have to built birds...you are a wounderful inspiration every time♡
Good Morning, I just knew immediately why Jenny would love this design. The first time I saw the tiny houses both she and I would be hooked! I am surely going to give this a go! 💙
I can’t wait to make this adorable quilt. I am heading with my sister to a quilt retreat and this is what I have chosen for my project. I gathered all the fabric and getting ready to cut it out. Love you Jenny and your tutorials are so awesome

Cute! Cute! Cute! This looks like such a fun block! I see me doing a table runner with different reds for mimic a cardinal - my state bird. Thanks for such a great tutorial!
Yep! Gonna make this adorable birdie quilt. After all of the doom and gloom as of late, this is the fun, colorful, whimsy we need. Thanks Jenny for this fabulous tutorial on Jean-Sophie’s pattern. Also, thanks for the new word: scrabric!! 😆
This makes me happy, going to have to make some birds in remembrance of my mom who loved mountain blue birds. She was a beautiful seamstress and quilter. She passed away last October.
So stinking cute! Thank you for sharing! Thank you to your whole team! I wouldn't be a quilter without you! My first quilt was "Couch to Quilt" kit for my first granddaughter. You are a blessing to me!
This is just perfect. I might make another Brightly quilt and use this cute little birdie in place of the star blocks. So so cute. Thanks Miss Jenny for a great tutorial. Have a marvelous weekend MSQC crew. 🤗☺️
These birds made me smile as soon as I saw them. I'll have to make a bunch so I can smile in every room. Maybe some pink flamingos for the bathroom? Thank you, Jenny, for sharing this pattern and a fun way to use the ombre fabric (which I'd looked at and wondered how to use it).
Jenny you made me so tickled watching you make the bird's. I really enjoyed this pattern. You're right, you can't help but be happy, & smile when you make these sweet little birds. I'm going to see if I can figure out way's to add a hat, or something to them too. Ha, ha, thank you, Jenny.
This is so cute. My SIL loves birds. I'll have to make her something with this. You look great Jenny! Thanks for the tutorial. I really appreciate them because I learn better by seeing it done.
These adorable birdies would make a wonderful project for anybody who likes to do embroidery or other embellishment. Buttons, beads, ribbons, lace... So many possibilities!
I love it when you’re excited about a project! Thank you for teaching it to us, and for the permission you received. That ombré fabric is gorgeous. It must be the “in” thing right now, as I just watched another tutorial featuring it as well. Thanks again and Happy Quilting! 🧵
Hi Jenny! These birds are so adorable! I was watching the video and thinking "These would be great to make for inside our camper!" Then you mentioned you had done the same thing. LOL. It is our first camper and while it is sturdy and everything works, needs some TLC cosmetically on the inside. Thanks for this tutorial! Happy mother's day!
