Hi I'm Wendy a resin artist and crafter.
In this video I am making a book stand. It is a simple idea with a lot of potential. I use silicone from ‪@LETSRESIN‬ and their epoxy resin too.
This idea could be adapted in so many ways to create your own book stands.
I hope you enjoy this and hopefully be inspired to create your own.

Fantastic product! Up until the end, I couldn't fathom how the book would fit on it!😅 I have the same 'non-math' mind. Really! Spatial, no prob. 😂❤ Algebra and above makes no sense to me😮.

THIS IS AN AWSOME IDEA! I had never heard of a “book snob” until reading the cindyorgill6619 review. My children have said I have book OCD LOL! (I have a difficult time writing in a workbook too) 🤣 Bookmarks slide out all the time & breaking the spine to hold it open is horrible. I’m going to make several of these for the book worms I know. THANKS GIRL! 🤩

I am an epic reader, so this is definitely going on my list of things to make for myself since my cats love to steal my bookmarks out of my books...sigh. I did have a question for you not related to this video because you seem to have done most everything and are always so responsive!! Do you have a trick for sealing paper to use in resin where the resin will not darken the paper? Preferably not laminating because I really don't want to buy a laminator. I found some amazing origami paper I want to use in my designs, but everything I have tried to seal it still darkens the paper just like the resin would :(

Well I would choose a laminater over anything tbh But there are other ways However they all might darken the paper. Modge podge or any type of water proof glue would do it But you could try clear sticky back plastic on both sides of the paper, as long as there is a complete seal around the edges so no moisture can get in to the paper. I think that would work 😀 I hope you find your answer Have fun with it 😀💜👍

I wasn’t planning on it as I would need to buy the mould and then make the inlays which are quite hefty. It would work out quite expensive to make it worth my while doing. It would be much more efficient to make your own 😀💜👍

This seems like something that would work very well for hard backed books, but I can only imagine the damage it would do to a soft backed book's binding. I could be dead wrong there, but it's where my mind went 🙂Either way, it's beautiful. What a lovely gift!
