Golly gosh Michelle, I just watched you in complete awe all the way through! I have always been hopeless at sewing. What a fantastic bag, so groovy and useful ( love the glasses cleaner bit, as I can't see without my glasses and a lot of the time even with them because I smudge them all the time, and then lose my glasses cloth ) 😄 A place for everything. I need a bag like this for sure! Maybe I can show someone your video and pay them to make me one using my artwork! You are amazing! Love and hugs 😀💜🐨🥰🤗🙋‍♀️

You are such a hoot to watch! Love this tutorial! I was wondering how the painted canvas holds up in rainy weather? Will the rain mess with the painted canvas or do you have to add a seal of some sort to protect it? I love the versatility of the straps depending on how you wish to wear it. Wouldn't have thought of that myself! Another fabulous tutorial and a great result for your SECOND hand bag!

Thank you Kathy 😊 This canvas is sealed with the decoart pour on sealer and am guessing as long as the back of the canvas doesn't get wet it should be ok. I don't tend to get my bags wet so won't be able to give much feedback long term either.

You mentioned the canvas was sealed - would a lacquer type sealer work?

I used the binding method to allow for not needing to bend and flip the painting and as long as it is semi flexible you should be ok for a while. I am also wondering if it depends on your paint and pouring medium to to check the flexibility. Could even stabalise the painting by gluing some card on the back side inside the seam allowance.
