I've seen a couple of other Joker makeups, and "he does this really messily, so I can make this as messy as I want and be like, it's fine, Joker did it" seems to be the common idea for all of them, not only Phoenix's version. Seems to work out every time!
I did the exact same thing! I looked around my town at multiple thrift stores to make my Joker costume! While working at Goodwill, I found my jacket and shirt. At another thrift store, I found the pants and they were a perfect fit! As for the vest, I wasn't having any luck, so my mom made a vest from a pattern. Currently, I have long hair, but last year, it was short. So I bought a Heath Ledger Joker Wig and painted it greener with green hairspray. Might do some thrift store hunting if I want to do Joaquin Phoenix's Joker again for Halloween or a convention.
This is amazing keep it up i loved the joker movie i went to see it three times and have always wanted to make the costume and didnt know how so this video is going to help me make one you should try and make the dark knight joker from the Christian Bale movies😀👍
Hi Dave I was one of the people who watched the premiere and now this is one of my favorite of your videos by far. I'm a big Joker fan and i actual went to see the movie last year and you did the costume and the makeup justice (Pun intended). i liked the montage of you dancing on those steps just like Joaquin Phoenix did in the film. Stay Safe and keeping inspiring others to make awesome and cool looking costumes and props. Peace. P.S For your first Makeup video you did a great job you look just like the Joker, when i dressed as Joker once i sprayed my hair green too and when i was done i just washed it out in the shower, it depends on the spray.
