I love the costume. I don't care if a lot of people are going to dress up as it for Halloween, it's a cool costume and just because a lot of people wear the same costume doesn't make the costume worse.
To be honest. I won't make this costume, for obvious reasons, but, I still watch it cause it's enjoyable to see how they put this together. Anyone agree?
Yes. I watch every episode even if I'm not super familiar with the source material for the costume their doing. They're entertaining and every episode has really clever ideas on how to make costumes.
I love how you hot glued the shorts together!!! I totally do that too. I hot glue everything!!! It really holds together especially if you press down or apply weight after you apply.

Honestly, I’m really impressed with how this came out! For under $100 (if you count the cost of the wig in there too it’s still under $100) this is pretty awesome, totally recognizable, and pretty accurate! I’ve got about $2,000 in my Harley cosplay so far and this video honestly made me rethink some of the choices I made to get where I am with mine 😂 sure mine is as accurate as I can get it so far, but some of the ideas here are honestly so incredibly smart and I might implement some of them in future cosplays!

I only get the shirt the leather shorts the jacket and I wear black boots with it I got the glove but it went missing I'm getting te rest of it with my pocket money I'm also getting her jesters costume
$40? You said the wig was $32, the fishnets were $9, the shorts were $10 each, then you also bought boots, shoelaces and the shirt. That math doesn't add up.
Go back and pay attention to what they said. They made it clear the outfit was about $40 and the wig is separate. The purposefully separated it because A) They chose to go with a professional wig instead of making their own (which they even mention you can do) and B) some people won't even need the wig and could just use hair spray to modify their own hair.
$20 for the shorts, $9 for the fishnets, $5 for the shirt, $7 for red spray paint, $12 boots, $2 laces, $1 for foam. That totals to $56, not quite the $40 they boasted. Not to mention the things she doesn't put a price on like the acrylic paint, the belt, gloves, markers, tape, etc. So Bear is right. The math doesn't add up.
I didn't count things like the foam, paint, and other supplies that I already owned (I mentioned in the video that this is the same paint I used for the sailor moon costume). I also counted the wig separately, as mentioned in the video.
I regret planning to be Harley this year.. I see a lot of comments on videos saying that Harley will be the only costume we'll see on people this year, etc, and it just brings down the excitement that I had about my costume. But hey! It's Halloween! We can be anything we want! We don't need to be original, labeled as a fake fan, etc.
Kudos! 👏 👏 👏 For doing it all by hand with thrift store products and making it all as spot on as u have is actually harder to do than most ppl really understand. So for that i tip my hat to u, sis! 😊
