Over the past year or so I've been making wooden fishing nets at home. This video takes you through the whole process from start to finish!
I don't have any specialist equipment and I was able to do everything at home, mostly in my kitchen! I don't have any woodwork training (other than what I learned at school) and almost all my knowledge has come from youtube videos. The Filson 'DIY wooden landing net' article was also really helpful www.filson.com...
If anyone has any questions/queries about the build I'll make sure I reply to all comments as helpfully as possible. Alternatively, if you think there's anything I'm doing wrong, just let me know :)
