business started slow but bookings are coming in almost daily now just make sure you setup everything correctly in the beginning and it will pay off trust me. Google business page, website, chat bot for website and online bookings those I didn’t get any at first but now people are booking there events with out me talking to them at all. Good luck

It’s (2) 10x20’s joined together. However Impact canopy sells a Mega 20x20 Popup. However it would be a nightmare to install without many people.

It’s funny, because I found that people are a bit more disrespectful when you have a location. When you are out of your garage there is a level of respect for the small guy. But having a commercial location has helped me stay way more organized and my wife loves that there aren’t rentals overrunning our house anymore.

So I just found your channel a few weeks ago. I've been in the market research stage, shopping my competitors, seeing what's offered, etc. I've been binge watching videos and was hoping you could answer a couple of questions for me. It's July 5th, do I buy inventory now and try and get some last minute summer rentals or should I just start taking bookings for next season and accumulate inventory in the meantime? 20x30 is what the local rental place offers so I was thinking about purchasing two 20x20 and being able to rent them individually or as a 20x40. Is there a better approach like buying a larger tent? And finally should I start with 60" round or 6' banquet tables? I plan to purchase white fanbacks so they can also be used for weddings as well. I started with 6’ folding tables because they were easier for customer pickups and deliveries. If you get 5’rounds you will need a bigger vehicle or trailer. Start time depends on what your offering. People only typically pre book bigger tents (in my experience). For example my bookings right now aren’t for smaller tents rather big wedding tents. In year 2 when off season started I put white fanback chairs on my website for the next wedding season at a very discounted price and got lots of pre booking for the next season, enough to pay for the chairs. Whenever you add inventory it needs time to be seen and get booked. If your getting items last minute it may not go out every weekend during summer because many people have already booked. @@therentalguy I just saw your reply because I was rewatching some videos because I'm getting super motivated again. Fast forward a year, it's been a slow start but that's because I haven't done any marketing yet. Over the winter I built a really nice website on Wordpress (with Booqable integration) that is just now starting to bring in orders and ranking high enough to be seen. I avoid the marketplace clientele so up until now it's been just some small word of mouth and referral stuff. Now we're just starting to get online orders and quotes (literally 2 weeks ago but 4 or 5 since then) and just got our 1st 5 star review from a Retirement party last weekend. I have 1- 20x20 HP Tent from Celina, 10- 6' tables, 10- 6' folding tables, 6 -60" rounds, black linens, 100 black folding chairs, 2- 10x20 from ABC Canopy, numerous popups, wine barrels, patio heaters, bistro lights, dance floor lights, battery powered uplights, speakers (including battery powered 15"s) and a couple of corn hole boards. My next purchase is going to be another 20x20 HP, a 20x30 HP and 100 white padded resin chairs. Trying to decide if I should keep adding plastic tables or start carrying wood. I want to get into doing more corporate so almost feel like the wood is a necessity.

Hi where are you located? I love your videos. My wife and her best friend have been doing an event planning business don't he side, and there's so much random decor like centerpieces, string lights, electric candles, uplights, flower wall backdrop, table covers, etc. Ive been the free labor and organized and cleaned up everything in our garage but stuff has been sitting there for a long time. So I've been looking into creating party rental stuff to make money off of all this stuff.

The seat can be separated from the frame and are replaceable. I get mine from Special Event Sales .

What’s bulk for you and what’s reasonable? The answer will very for the size of customer. The only way to get a real “bulk” deal is to order from China getting a whole shipping container at once. Other than that I recommend going to a supplier (mine is Special Event Sales). Yes it costs a lot but the inventory will quickly pay itself back if you are marketing yourself right.
